Hades x reader (Mute)

(y/n) sighed as she heard Hades yelling at his minions.

"You imbeciles! You had ONE job and you cannot even do it correctly! Locate my helm and retrieve it! You have one more week! NOW BEGONE!" He turned to look at you. 

You had your hands raised which meant 'I-did-nothing-wrong'

"My dear, I would like to sit on my throne" He spoke calmly. You nodded and got up. He sat down and sighed

"Please do come here" He said tiredly. You smiled before sitting on his lap, he wrapped his arms around your waist and buried his face in your hair. You didn't speak, you've lost your voice ages ago when you first came into the underworld. The terrifying creatures induced trauma and you lost your voice because of it.

"I wish you'd speak, my darling. I have heard your voice when you were still in the mortal world, but that has been years ago. I truly wish to hear your voice now" He sighed

"Just so it could soothe my pain" He added before placing a kiss to your temple. You soon stood up

"where are you going, My dear?" Hades inquired, standing up as well. You pointed outside, to where Persephone's garden is.

"Would you like me to accompany you, My dear?" Hades asked, you shook your head 'no'

"Very well. Stay within the gardens, alright?" You nodded and happily walked towards the garden.

Hades sat down again, placing his chin on his palm. After a few minutes of thinking, he saw a one of his skeleton guards walking towards him. 

"M'Lord" It spoke saluting. 

"What is it?" Hades snapped. The skeleton didn't seem scared but he stuttered out

"L-lady Persephone wishes to speak with you" Hades rolled his eyes. Persephone only talked to him when she was bored, she never really loved him, a small crush but never loved. And now he has moved on and has you.

"Fine. Let her in" Hades sighed sitting up straight.

Persephone entered looking worried

"Hades" She said calmly

"What is it that you needed, my dear friend" Hades spoke with a small smile

"Well, I was in my garden when I saw (y/n)..." She started taking a step back from Hades. He raised a questioning eyebrow

"And so? I'm aware of her whereabouts, Persephone. What is it that has made you seem distraught?" Hades asked. Persephone was young like you, but she was not easily frightened, she did love adventures after all.

"She is with another...man. I am not sure if he was mortal or not, but they are both in my gardens...And they seem...Close" She finished taking a few more steps back. 

Hades processed this. Persephone was such a caring person that she worried that his lover may not be fateful

He stood up and Persephone yelped, the temperature in the room got dangerously high.

"Where are they?" Hades said seething with rage.

You smiled watching the man in front of you. He was doing cart wheels and ended up smashing into a tree. You laughed silently and applauded, your applause being that of mockery

"You're so mean" The man pouted getting up and sitting next to you on the stone bench

"Got you some" He smiled offering an apple which you declined.

"More for me then" He laughed biting the apple and laying on your lap. Your hand automatically played with his hair, placing small flowers here and there

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" A raging voice asked. You and the man both looked up. Hades stood there, the tips of his dark coat smoking, his eyes were now pits of fire and his mouth formed a menacing sneer.

"Woah woah" The man panicked and bowed

"Lord Hades! I apologize for trespassing into your gardens!" The man spoke, fear lacing his voice. Not knowing anything else he did wrong.

"Silence! How dare you come in through my palace gates and shamefully flirt with my (y/n)?!" Hades stomped towards where you and the man were. He pointed an accusing finger at you

"And how dare you..." He said in a threatening tone

"You minx" He sneered. Hades grabbed the man by his neck, Hades realized that he was already dead so he dropped the man.

"I will send you to the pits of Tartarus where you shall for eternity suffer" Hades spoke, his tone of voice firm

"Wait, no. Lord Hades, I wasn't flirting with-" Hades smacked the man with the back of his hand, successfully knocking him down

"Silence, you fool" Hades was about to hit him again when you spoke. YOU spoke

"STOP!" You said nearly above a whisper, Hades dropped his arm to his side and he can feel his heart break.

"you...you spoke up...But for him" He didn't know what to feel, was it crippling sadness or blinding rage.

"he...he is.." You spoke which seemed difficult

"Do not push you self for the sake of this...man" Hades spoke, eerily calm

"He is my..." You managed still trying to form words.

"What? Your pass lover? pass husband? what? what?!" Hades now frustrated

"My brother" You finished smiling at the small accomplishment

"yes. He is my brother. His name..." You were managing to form sentences

"My name is Robert" Your brother finished

"and he...he died...of a...car crash" You managed to finally say. Hades was downright shocked, then embarrassed.

"I see. Then you are no longer sentenced to Tartarus, be gone" and with a wave of his hand, Robert disappeared, most likely reappearing just outside the palace gates. He quickly walked towards you and picked you up in a hug

"I apologize for raging out on you like that" He spoke, nuzzling his face in the crook of your neck

"You are Hades" You smiled. Hades chuckled

"Mhm. Indeed I am. And you are (y/n)"

"You are my Hades" You giggled kissing him

"And you are my darling (y/n)" he chuckled walking back inside with you still in his hands.
