Zeus was boredly staring at you as you read your book.
"(Y/n)" He called
"Whattup, Sparky?" You stated looking up from your book
"Nothing" He smiled "Just wanted to say your name"
"...okay?" You look back down to your book
"Read to me" Zeus suddenly said
"Uh...why?" You asked
"To keep you talking. I like hearing your voice" He stated
"Okay" You giggle.
"As he held my hand I felt sparks coursing through my body-" You stopped when Zeus let out a hearty chuckle
"What?" He chided, his eyes gleamed.
"Well, it'a an expression-" You started
"I know that, (y/n)" He stated, but you knew he probably didnt
"Uhuh. Well usually, when people feel 'sparks' when touching someone else, it means they love them" You explained looking back to your book only to let out a shriek when Zeus tackled you
"What the fu-!" You felt jolts of electricity coursing through you, though it was surprisingly pleasant
"There, sparks. I love you" Zeus murmured nuzzling his face on the top of your head.
"Ha ha ha" You rolled your eyes.
"Not gonna say it back?" Zeus mused. You sighed and just kept reading, trying to ignore the large man who had you in his embrace
"Perhaps the 'sparks' werent enough, my dear?" He stated before loud claps of thunder boomed outside scaring the heck out of you making you drop your book and playfully hitting Zeus
"You are such a douche bag" You murmured
"Still not hearing what I want to hear, Perhaps still not enough?" He grinned
"I love you!" You scream in his ear which only made him laugh
"I love you, too"
