10. finally!

NIKKI'S POV

I was out at Babies R Us with YN, and my phone started to ring. "I'm ready for looove, girl, I think I'm ready for love!" I got it out and realized it was a call from Roc.

"Hello?"

"Hey."

"Hi." this was so awkward.

"IM calling to let you explain." He said blandly.

"I already told you what happened! He kissed me, but I love you! Or Loved anyway." I told him.

"What do you mean 'Loved'? You don't love me anymore?" he sounded a tad hurt.

"I don't know. The boy I fell in love with, he would have let me explain to him what was going on when I told him about it."

"When you told me about it? Or when I confronted you about it? & The girl I fell in love with, would have told me right after it happened."

"Well, looks like we both effed up." I spoke into the phone. "I just..."

"You just what?" he asked.

"Start over?" I suggested.

"K. From this day forward. No secrets." He said.

"Yeah!" I laughed. "I missed you."

"I missed you, too. Especially late at night when everyone is caking on the phone, and I'm like 'Damn, that's a nice ass wall.'."

I nearly died laughing. "That is sooo true. YN be like 'I miss you bae!' & I'm like gradually eating more and more snacks."

"Don't get fat on me!" he semi-yelled.

"I won't! I do this!"

"I'm so glad I got you back!"

"Right." I said. "WAIT. WHERE IS KIRA?!"

"Oh! She's at our cousins house! I got her a little tracfone before I left if you wanna talk to her.'

"Yes! yes! Yes!" I saw YN give me the eye.

He gave me the number. "I am gonna call her tonight!"

"She would love to hear from you. And, don't mention our little break. i kinda didn't tell her. She'd kill me."

"Understood. But, I gotta go. We are baby shopping and YN is giving me the eye."

"Aight," he said. "Bye. I love you."

"I love you, too." It felt so good to say those words again.
