Chapter 7: Saved by brother

Hana POV 

Brother had taken me on a mission with the rest of his squad. We were looking for a run away Hollow my brother had capture and experimented on. Brother had divided the squad into 3 groups, where Nemu, I and brother were not on the same team. He almost scared the hell out of the people I was going to walk with. Telling them that if I got hurt, he would make them into an experiment.  We were walking around in a small clearing looking for clues to where the hollow went. 

Suddenly I could hear the sound of a branch breaking and a growling sound in the distance. I turned towards the soul reapers and said "guys did you hear something". 

"what are you talking about Hana" I said, while turning their attention towards me.  Black crows suddenly flew away from above us as tree began to break behind me. The soul reaper took a hold of their zanpakuto and one of them yelled "Hana get behind us now". 

I ran over to them as giant monster with white mask came out from the forest. The monster had a chain around it next and blood was dripping from its mouth. Sweat was dripping from my forehead as  I felt my heart beat rise. My legs were shaking as the beast reach out its claws towards the soul reapers in front of me. The soul reapers start attacking the creature, but one by one they got smashed into tree. Every single one of them fell to the ground with blood covering their bodies. 

"what a delicious looking spirit we have here" the Hollow said with a grin on its face as its gaze locked with my eyes. I bit my lower lip as I mumbled "please don't" , while backing away from it. The creature laughed while raising its arm. I ran for the tree behind me, but the creature snatched me into its hand. My body was getting crushed and pain shot through me like a wild wind. Please brother saw me, I though as tears streamed down my cheeks. 

"don't cry little one, it will all be over soon" the creature said while moving closer towards its opened mouth. I scream with all the power in my laughs for my brother as I came closer to the darkness. My eyes shot close. 

A sharp light came and I could feel someone embracing me. When I opened my eyes, I saw big brother holding me with one hand, while his zanpakuto  was in the other. Fury could be seen in his eyes as he yelled "don't you dare touch my sister", while cutting through the hollow mask. I hugged Oni-chan with all the strength in my body as my tears began to soak his uniform. He brushed my hair away from my eyes while saying "don't worry you are alright now". 

Time skip Yumichika POV

Kenpachi was fighting a group of new soul reaper to see if they were fit for the combat squad.  Ikkaku had of course join them and those two were not making it easy on them. I looked down at the pile of paper work that our captain was suppose to do, but like always I end up doing it. 

"come on guys is that all you got" Kenpachi yelled as he threw one of the recruit into the wall. A loud laugh echoed in the room  and Ikkaku walked towards Kenpachi. He pointed his sword towards the captain and said "well why don't we have a little match".   
The two  started fighting like hell had broken loose. Ikkaku was thrown through the wall and kenpachi smashed another hole in the wall so that he could follow him outside. I handed the papers in my hand to another squad member and found a first aid kit.
The entire yard had been ruined and both of them were dripping with blood and sweat. Why the hell do they all ways have to make a mess out of everything. My eyes suddenly fell on a large sakura tree at the fare corner of the yard. 

A girl was hiding herself behind the tree while gazing at Ikkaku and Kenpachi fight. Wonder what she is doing her. Her eyes were shining like stars and her skin was flawless in its milky white color. Could she be that girl Hana, which Kenpachi was telling us about. I flash stepped behind the girl  and "who are you and what are you doing here". 

Lightning went through the girls entire body as she heard my voice. She turned towards me so I could gaze into does galaxy like eyes. She turned her eyes towards the ground and her hands were pulling on the sleeves of her kimono. 

"My name is Hana Kurotsuchi" she said in an angel like voice. I sighed and asked"are you by any chance Captain Mayuri younger sister". The girl replied with a short nod while trying to make eye contact with me. 

"Hey Yumichika, who's that chick" Ikkaku yelled all of a sudden from behind me. I turned around and saw the captain an Ikkaku both having their eyes fixed on the girl. Kenpachi was rubbing his forehead and busted out "hey aren't you Mayuri sister", which make the girl jumped a bit. Ikkaku tilted his head followed by a laughter, while saying "GREAT JOKE CAPTAIN, there is no way a girl like that could be related to that freak of a captain". The girls face flushed as she stepped out of her hiding and walked in front of me. 

"and whats so funny about that" she spat out. You could see how she was forcing herself to stand tall and Ikkaku just looked at her in disbelief. He stumbled out "wait so the captain was not joking". 

"What are you doing here, girl" Kenpachi asked making all the boys in the squad turn there attention towards the poor girl. She lifted her head up and looked the captain directly in the eyes as she said "Please would you teach me how to use a sword" followed by a deep bow. 

A loud EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH could be heard from the entire squad followed by a loud laughter. The captain just looked at the girl with cold eyes. He opened his mouth making ready for his answer.
