chapter 4: working for big brother

Hana POV

Brother showed me around his squad barracks and told me everything about the soul reapers and the soul society that I need to know. Brother also gave me the names of all the captains and lieutenants. His lieutenants name was Nemu. She did talk much, but brother said that if I need anything I should just ask her or him. He also said that I should keep away from squad 11 and 4, because they would be bad influence on me. 

Brother took me into his personal lab and asked me to sit down on a chair, so he could give me a medical check up. I sat down on the chair and brother began check me from top to toe, but of course he had made Nemu do the parts were he was not suppose to check. 

"Sis, may I ask who put that collar on you" he said while tipping something into his computer. I looked down to the floor as I remembered how that man had forced this collar on me and chained me to a wall, so I could not escape or use any of my spiritual energy. Moist filled my eyes as I remember all the times he would inject weird liquids into my body and torture me using all kinds of tools. 

I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to see big brother looking down at me with concern in his eyes. He removed the moist from my eyes and said "it was him ". I gave him a small nod and big brother took me into a comforting embrace. He whispered into my ear "don't worry, I wont let anyone ever tear us apart again". 

Onii-chan found all kinds of tools and tried to get the collar loose, but nothing worked. He spend hour after hour trying to help me get it off, but in the end we had to give up and call it a day. I was told that I should sleep together with Nemu in her room, since brother still had finished talking with the captains about what to do with me. I really hope that the captains would let me stay here. 

Time-skip

It had been a week, since I found big brother and the soul reapers. The head captain had decided, that I could stay among them until the man who had kidnapped me had been found and punished. Brother was still trying to find out, how to get the collar off me, whenever he was not working. I was delivering papers back and forth between my brother and some of the other captains. 

I was on my way to deliver something from my brother to the captains of squad 6. The temperature today was really hot, so I was wearing a soul reaper uniform, I had borrowed from Nemu. I still have not had the chance of thanking the people, who found me that day. I had tried to make captain Unohana tell me, but she said that I had to wait and see. 

"Hey, Hana-chan" a red hair man wearing a lieutenant badge. I smiled at him as I said "Nice to see you , lieutenant Abarai", while giving him a slight bow. He ran up to me and rubbed the back of his neck as he said "Hana-chan you don't have to be so formal around me, just call me Renji". 

Renji POV

Hana-chan looked extremely cute in that soul reaper uniform. Seriously I cant understand how she can be related to Mayuri. She said "thank, Renji-kun, by the way are you feeling sick or something". What, I thought while rubbing the back of my neck.

"why would you think that" I asked. She tilted her head as I answered "because you entire face is completely crimson and you do look really tense". That girl clear has no idea when it comes to stuff like that, I though in relief. 

"why don't I walk you to my captains office, and please let me carry some of those documents for you" I said while taking half of the pile out of her hands and into my own. She smiled at me and said "thank you, Renji-kun". 

That girl really has changed a lot for the past few days. When she first got here, she would always hid behind her brother, but with all that has happened to her I would not blame her for being nervous around strangers. 

She started asking me questions about what my life and about my squad. I answered her question one by one even asked her some about her big brother from time to time. We walked into the hallway leading directly into my captains office. Now, when I think about Hana-chan and captain kuchiki have really meet each other except for that time, when Hana meet the captains. Lets just hope that kuchiki wont scar the  poor girl with his emotionless facial expression, but her brother is Mayuri so she should be fin,  I hope. 

I opened the door to the office and Hana-chan walked into the room with me behind her. The captains was focused on the 3 piles of paper work that had been place on his table. I placed a hand in front of my mouth and made a coughing sounds. Captain Kuchiki raised his head and his eyes landed directly at us.
