I opened the text to read. "Hey Skylar ^_^. This is may." My heart skipped a beat. I had forgotten everything that had just happened this afternoon. I messaged back "Hey May. Really glad you texted me." I waited for her reply. After 5 minutes I started getting sad. Then after another 5 minutes I lost hope of any reply. Just the my phone vibrated. I opened it quickly while having those butterflies floating in my stomach as usual. "Really now ;) well do you think I could call you?" The butterflies in my stomach were drugged up on crack by now. I could feel them everywhere. I texted back and waited for a call. I had turned my ringer up a bit so I knew she was calling.

"I'll admit to who I am the day I come to understand I haven't got a clueeeee, but searching for a few years now." My ringtone blasted through the tiny speaker (Over it by Relient K) I saw May's number and picked up after a few lyrics. I didn't want to seem desperate!

S:"hello"

M:"Hey Skylar! What you doing?"

S: "Just laying in bed."

M: "Without me?"

I didn't know if she was flirting or playing around 0_0

S:"Haha. Sorry my bed is to small for 2 people"

M:"I could always lay on top of you. Anyways, what you doing this weekend?"

S:"Nothing for now. why?"

M:"Well Chey and Leigh and their bf's want to go to the movies. I was wondering if you want to be my date for the night so I'm not the 3rd wheel."

I was blushing so hard. I was glad that this was over the phone.

S:"I would love to. I'm ready to get out of this house any chance I get!"

M:"Well in that case.. do you want to come over Thursday night and sleepover till Monday, so I can take you to school?"

I thought about it for a while. Then saw this was a perfect opportunity to get out of the house and also get to know May better.

S:"That would be awesome. If it's not to much of a burden."

M:"Trust me it's not. Well I'll see ypu tomorrow. Sorry for calling you so late."

I didn't want to stop talking her voice was addicting. I hadn't realized the time. It was already 10:45 pm. I didn't even know how it got to be so late.

S:"It's alright. I needed a phone call. see you tomorrow."

I took a shower and went back to bed. I closed my eyes and immediatly fell asleep.

(May's POV)

When we hung up the phone I realized that I didn't want to. I haven't felt like this since my last gf, Valentine, she left to a different state. We tried long distance, but she ended up finding someone else. There was something about Skylar that made me confident. I had never flirted with anyone like that. I really was flirting without a second thought. I just hope I didn't make her uncomfortable. After about 30 minutes of thinking I passed out on my bed.
