Chapter 12

I sincerely apologize for not uploading lately. I've been caught up with trying to move and registration for college. It's proven way to much for me so far. Anyways, I'm going to try to upload at least twice more this week. Thanks to everyone who has been patient and reading my story. Enjoy!

(May's POV)

It was almost the end of school and I was getting nervous. Skylar was coming over today and I had cleaned my whole house the day before. My mom was going to going to be late coming home tonight, so i had to make dinner.

I just really wanted Skylar to feel comfortable and I wanted to make a good impression on her as well. I usually don't care what anyone thinks of me, but Skylar.. she's different.. very different. She makes me have hope in love.

Wait, did I say love? I meant relationships. I guess I'm still messed up from my last one.. Valentine..

*Flashback*

I walked through the door after going shopping with Leigh. My phone vibrated and took it out. It was my mom. {You have a letter. Left it on your bed. Going to be home late tonight. Love you!} I rushed to my roomto see if it was from Val. She hadn't texted me, wrote me or called me for a week.

I walked in to my room and grabbed the letter. It was from Valentine, but it didn't have a return address. I opened it up quickly to see what she had written me.

Hey Nessa, {She called me by my 1st name when we dated}

My grandma has gotten better and the family is very excited about the news because the doctor's have said she wil live a few more years. My family has decided to stay here though. I know it's been a while since we last talked. 

I jsut need to tell you that I think we need to go our seperate ways. I really care about you and you're such a sweetheart. I know you'll find someone great. I found a guy that treats me so well and we just moved in together.

That's why I haven't been writing because I was busy moving in my things to his house. I'm sorry it had to end this way. Hope school goes great for you.               Love you always, Valentine :)

I snapped back as the bell rang for class to be over. I loked at Skylar as she was packing her things. I packed my things up as well. "Ready Sky?" She smiled "yeah, I'm ready." We walked to the parking lot and drove to her hosue to pick up her clothes. 

When I pulled into the driveway Sky looked nervous. "Sky do you want me to go grab your clothes for you?"
