I was sitting on my bed, my iPad playing music, with a drawing book in my lap and a pencil in my hand. I was sketching a wolf, a werewolf. I had just finished its tail when Chase knocks.

"Yeah" I call, adding the final fur marks onto my wolfs head

"Hey Sam, what ya doing?"

I hold my wolf up for him. "

Wow, thats amazing, it looks like me" my heart skips a beat,

"Really?" I ask in shock,

he gives me a sly grin. Oh no, he probably thinks Everything wrong.

"Can I just ask you something? You can think about it"

I nod skeptically.

"Because you've never kissed a guy before, would you... Kiss me just to see how it feels, I mean a werewolf relationship is supposed to be greater than a normal humans relationship." He sat down on my bed, I put my book aside and shrugged, my favourite song breakeven by the script floated from my iPad, I'll have to restart it I've missed my favourite part. Chase leaned forward just a bit, I waited not sure what to expect. His lips were full and begging to be kissed, I closed the distance too impatient to wait. His lips were soft on mine, I tangled my fingers in his hair. He moved his hand to my cheek and pulled away just a little but I leaned in more, he grinned against my lips. The whole kiss felt amazing, my stomach had a million butterflies in it, And then suddenly I had the strangest feeling ever, I felt like he was the only person I wanted to be with for my whole life. He pulled away with the biggest smile,

"See what I mean?"

He punched me playfully

"Yeah, I do. Would a kiss with a normal guy be the same?"

He shakes his head,

"Thats why you felt like you only wanted to be with me"

"You felt that too?" I asked shocked

"Yeah."

Wow I was starting to question this werewolf thing,

"Anyway I better get going."

Chase yawns, after he helps me up, I see him to the door. "Alright princess gotta head off"

"Princess?"

He grins and pulls me into him,

"See you at school tomorrow"

he winks and gently closes the door Behind him. I walk away feeling like a Million bucks.

I went to bed that night thinking about us. If we weren't werewolves, would we still be together? My mouth gets dry and I get up for a drink. I reach for the only cup in the cupboard. A small tea cup. Its been in there for ages. It hasn't been washed and Uncle has told me never to use it. So far I haven't used it yet but I was Desperate. I tried to lift it up but it wouldn't budge. I tried pulling it and the small tea cup edged forward revealing a small silver key. I picked it up and wondered around. What would it open? I shrugged and decided it was best to wait until the morning. As I turned around a small glowing square lights up the wall. I walk over to it and press my ear up against the glowing lines. The wall melts away leaving an entrance to a hidden room. I walk in cautiously and peer around. The whole back wall is covered in sticky notes, the desk in front of it is no better. Documents litter the surface and crumpled up paper fills the rubbish bin. Pictures of people hang from the roof. At a closer glance its all the one person. I turn to look at the left wall thats line with wolf pelts. My breath catches in my throat when I realise that the people hanging from the roof was my lost Cousin Alex.

I stumble back into the desk, my hand pressing on something sharp and squishy. I spare a glance down and gasp. I have squished a voodoo doll with Alex's face on it. Calming down I sieve through the draws. Paper, paper, oh look more paper. At last my hands hit a leather book. I open it and start reading. Diagrams of wolf traps and dates are sketched onto the paper. The latest date is 26th of March, thats tomorrow. Maps of mountain ranges and the town fall out. A silver knife with a black handle is bound to the back cover. Its blade is a shiny silver and at least 8 centimetres. Illegal. My uncles heavy footsteps crash on the stairs. I grab the diary and run back to bed, the door melding back into the wall.
