Rei's Story {Rewrite}

Chapter 2

After reading for a while I started to fall asleep, I changed into my pajamas and fell asleep on my bed. My dream was about my past.
(Flashback to when Rei was five)
I was playing outside with my younger sister Lana. As I was playing Lana made a tree explode. I screamed, my dad came rushing in.
"What happened here?" Jude asked.
"L-Lana and I were playing and then a tree exploded," I said scared.
"Don't worry I will help Lana," he said.
"How?" I asked.
"There is a place for her to control her powers," he said, "I will take her there and she will be safe."
"Okay," I replied crying.
After that he sent me to got to mom. I was with her crying.
"Don't worry Terrza, everything will be okay," Layla said.
I nodded and stayed with her for a while. She left to check on my three year old sister, Lucy. After that I felt a lot more dark energy in me then before, I just ignored it and continued to try and stay calm.
(Time skip to two years later)
I was hanging out with Lucy who was five at this time, I enjoyed hanging out with her. But I missed Lana, I didn't know where she was. As we were playing I felt something strange going on. I felt a bit drowsy and went to go sit down, but as I touched the tree, it started to wilt and it died. I screamed loud, my mom came rushing in and she called my dad. He took me to a strange place. I was scared and some people took me. But as they touched my skin they all died horribly. I cried even more.
"Hey, why are you crying?" I heard a voice say. I turned to the voice to see a little girl with green hair and two unmatching teal eyes.
I didn't respond, she went towards me and I backed away.
"I'm not going to hurt you," she said.
"I know, but I might hurt you," I replied quietly.
She touched my hand and nothing happened, I froze in shock.
"What's wrong? You didn't hurt me," she said.
"But everyone and thing I touch dies, how are you still alive?" I asked.
"Well anyone I touch comes to life or gets healed. So maybe our power counter each other," she said.
"Maybe..." I mumbled.
"I'm Haruka by the way," she said to me smiling.
"Terrza..." I replied.
"That's cool but hard to remember, how about I call you Rei?" Haruka asked.
"I like that name," I replied.
"Cool, we'll call you Rei now," she said.
"We'll?" I asked confused thinking we were the only ones here.
"Yeah, there are more people here," Haruka said.
"There are?" I ask.
"Yep!" Haruka exclaimed. "How about we get you some magic sealing gloves so you don't hurt them."
"Okay..." I replied.
"Great! Let's go!" Haruka exclaimed with energy.
I followed her for a while. She gave me a pair of brown gloves and I put them on.
"Hey where do you kids think you're going!" someone shouted.
They ended up grabbing us and taking us to some laboratory. After that Haruka, a bunch of kids, and I were strapped to tables. They picked up to needles and stuck them in my neck.
(Dream over)
     I woke up terrified and shaking. I wasn't going back to sleep after that.
