FRIDAY MORNING

LAUREN'S P.O.V

I drowsily stumbled down the carpeted stairs of my house. "Good morning." My mom greeted as I rubbed my eyes vigorously.

"Morning, Mom." I returned.

"So remember to have your bags packed before school on Thursday so that Aunt Nicole won't have to wait on you. Cause I'm leaving at 6:30."

"Aunt Nicole? Really? She's so strict! Wait how long will you be gone?"

"Two weeks. Honey calm down, you'll get frown lines. Plus what's two weeks anyway right?" She told me. That was mom for you. I was annoyed about being imprisoned for the next two weeks and my mom was telling me not to get lines on my face.

"Whatever, well I've got to get going. Rudy wants us to be early this morning."

"Bye sweetie."

Without saying anything back to her I raced out the door slamming it behind me.
