Battle of the Bands

chapter 6

Shoni pov

I walk out of the school and go to the car.

"How was that" tia asks the moment I get the door open.

"Okay I guess" I respond.

"What happened," they press.

"Not much of anything. We just sat there," I tell them.

When we get back to my place, and I get something to snack on.

"Ok so we kind of need to come up with a name," I point out.

"Ya," they respond at the same time, and then start throwing names at me.

"Okay, okay slow down." I have to almost y'all over top of them. " I know you both have some good ideas but we should hear them and not have to talk over each other." 

We end up settling on four names Reversal, 10 Years Waiting, Day Breakers, and The Final 5. We then post a video of us being weird and listing the names for people to vote on. 

We work on night changes for a bit and then look to see which name one the contest and reversal wins the race by 9 votes. So we are called reversal. 

We go over night changes and a few other songs and the girls decide to stay the night. So we watch a movie. I want to watch Cowboys and Aliens, but Tia and Shy want to watch The Jungle Book, i'm out voted so we watch the jungle book . Basily it's about a boy raised in the jungle and I don't really pay that much attention, and fall asleep twenty minutes into it.

We slept in a bitt so we skip breakfast. We rush out the door and into the car. When we pull into the school parking lot we have five minutes to spare before class. At the doors we go our separate ways. first today I have english with Mrs. Breault. She talks and talks and I end up zoning out for a bit and day dreaming about if our band really works out and we go on tour and do things like that. I'm pulled from my daze when the door opens. 

"Class you have a new student today," Mrs. Breault tells us the obvious, "this is Shealynn." A tall girl walks in the room, she has dirty-blond-brownish hair with the tips dyed purple it looks good, she is wearing black ripped skinny jeans and a black singlet with some band name on it. She walks over and sits down beside me. 

"Hi, I'm Shae," she tells me. 

"I'm Shoni." I reply and then turn back to what I was supposed to be doing. 

"Shoni can help you if you need," I here Mrs Breault tell Shea. 

I look at her, her eye  silently begging for help, so I explain the assignment to her and then go back to doing my own work. Finally after what feels like an eternity the bell rings and almost simultaneously my phone goes off.

Ya totally but i still need a ride, haven't had time to fix my car. 😠

I had almost forgot about working at the barn.

The rest of the day is a blur of books, talking with the girls, becoming friends with shea, and running into Luke a lot more than usual. 

Finally the final bell rings and I can leave. Our last bell goes at three ten, it is nice out, and I have time, so I decide to walk home. I get home and get changed and then wait five minutes for Logan to get here. I walk to his truck and then we are off. 

sorry again that it is late, there is a surprise in the next chapter so that is why i left the end of this one like this. hope you guys like it hope to double update next week so hope you like it.
