Noname and Angel talked all through the evening, getting to know each other, sharing interests, and talking about their past.
"Wait, so how many dogs did your second owner have?"
Angel asked, smiling with interest.
"13."
Noname replied.
"You're kidding." Angel said in disbelief.
"Nope. It was pretty crazy. Part of the reason why I don't live there anymore is.. well.. New England simply doesn't allow 13 dogs in one home. So, I was removed along with two others."
"Were you taken to the pound?"
"Oh yeah, but a nice mutt broke me and the others out. It's a shame he doesn't roam the streets anymore, he was a kind dog."
"Who was he?"
"I believe he went by the name 'The Tramp'"
Angel gasped.
"What?" Noname asked, confused.
"It's just.. I live with Tramp. In fact, that's Scamp's father."
"Wow.. I never knew he had a puppy."
"Puppies." Angel corrected.
"He had four puppies."
Noname nodded, taking in the new information.
After a minute of silence, Noname spoke,
"Well, we should probably go to sleep."
He said, climbing into his bed.
Angel nodded, lying down where she was.
"Angel?"
Scamp barked sadly, walking around town. It was beginning to get so dark that Scamp couldn't see anything.
He sighed,
"Maybe.. there's just no hope, I made her really mad. I wouldn't blame her if she never wants to see me again."
He whispered to himself, walking to a nearby alley to rest for the night.
Boosh! Another chapter! Man, I'm on fire! Sorry it's really short.. I've got a couple ideas, but nothing for the next chapter. Why is it that we always come up with a million ideas for future chapters but never for the one we're currently on? Lol that can't be just me.
