Jim Dear stood up, and faced the dogs.
"Now don't you all worry, he will be alright." He then turned around and walked out of the room with Scamp to put him in bed. Angel whimpered.
"What are YOU crying about?"
Angel turned and faced Collete.
"Wh-at? I'm-"
"You have no right to mourn over Scamp! You put him in this mess to begin with!"
"Collete that is enough!"
Lady cried.
Collete's ears flopped down as Lady continued her scolding,
"It's not her fault that Buster attacked Scamp! He brought this on himself when he chose to pick a fight. Don't go blaming Angel!"
As they continued fighting, Angel ran out through the doggy door. The sun went down as Angel ran down the street, and into a different neighborhood. With a clap of thunder, the sun was down, and Angel was trembling under a tree as the rain came down hard. She whimpered and closed her eyes as the thunder, lightning, and rain continued. A while after the rain stopped, Angel looked down the street and thought about going back. But she shook her head and started walking in the opposite direction.
I can't take it anymore,
I've been rejected too many times.
The pain never goes away,
No one knows just how much I hurt inside.
