Scamp slowly opened his eyes, he groaned. He tried to get up but he flopped back down due to his injured leg.
Tramp acknowledged Scamp and ran over to him.
"You're awake! You alright whirlwind?"
Scamp groaned again, slowly looking up at his father.
"Dad? W-where's Angel..?"
"I don't know son.. She's been gone since last night."
Scamp bolted up but immediately fell over as he howled in pain.
"Woah woah slow down there whirlwind you'll injury it even more!"
"I've gotta find her, pop!"
"She couldn't have gone far Scamp, you need to rest. Then we'll look for her." Lady then ran in when she heard Scamp.
"Oh thank goodness you're alright Scamp."
She said nuzzling him.
Scamp weakly nuzzled back.
"How are the girls doing?
Tramp asked,
"There doing alright.. They've taken their minds off it and now they are playing outside together."
"That's good."
Tramp said sighing.
"Mommy!"
Cried Danielle from the backyard,
"We knocked something over!"
Lady shook her head and sighed,
"I'll be back." She said as she ran off.
"I'll come with you Pidge. I'll check on you later whirlwind."
Tramp said to Scamp as he walked away.
Scamp nodded and closed his eyes, never taking his mind off of Angel.
I hope she's okay
He thought to himself, silently whimpering.
