~Chapter Eight~ Liam's POV

Saying I hate her would be a plant I wouldn't mind watering. Having to work harder to give it more sunlight and nutrients. Soon I'm going to accidentally let it slip. Forget to water it. And the plant will die. But it takes effort to keep things unsaid. And I'll have to confess.

"LIAM"

"Sounds like someone's awake."

"Shut up I'm not in the mood."

"Ooooooh it's grouchy Ashley never mind. My mistake."

"Like I said. Shut up. Did you ever find food? I'm starving."

"Should I have looked?"

"YOU DIDN'T EVEN LOOK. FUCK LIAM SERIOUSLY." She stomps off to probably the waterfall. What's with her..

"Okay then." I follow her. Probably not the best idea. But I figured. Maybe I can get some fun out of this. I find Ashley sitting on a rock with her feet in the water. Kicking her feet around like a child. A sad child. "Should I ask? Or."

"Please don't." She doesn't look at me, she looks are her reflection in the water.

"No really. What made your attitude change all of the sudden."

She turns to look at me. "How long do you think we'll be stuck here for?" She sounds nervous.

"Don't think of it as being stuck here." I go to sit beside her. "Think of it as a vacation before vacation." She lets our a funny giggle, which makes me smile.

"Yeah that helps a whole lot." She keeps smiling. Ashleys hair falls around her face, blowing softly in the wind. The water reflects off the green around her puple, making the brown around it stand out in the sun.

"No problem." I give her a small smirk.

"Ash?" No Liam shut up.

"Yeah."

"I- um." LIAM STOP TALKING. "Nevermind." Feewf that was close.

"Liam, you know I hate when you do that."

"I know you know." I try to confuse her. Maybe she'll forget I said anything.

"Now tell me."

"Nope."

"Yes."

"Don't make me complicate things." Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit.

"Please?"

"I shouldn't."

"Liam."

"Okay." NO. STOP MAN. STOP.

"Well?" Her voice is soft and quiet.

"No. I can't I'm sorry." I stand up, ready to walk away, when she grabs my arms, making me turn turn to face her.

"Please.." She wispers right into my ear, sending chills down my back. We have barely any space between us. If only it would dissapear.

"I like you Ash, I've never stopped."

I let it slip. My plant is dead...
