Shawn was somehow finding Taylor's smile, his love for photography, and that deep chuckle he always did very attractive. Go figure, Shawn was always the type to catch feelings for a boys easily, and now that he knew Taylor had some interest in him it made Shawn like him even more.

It was a few minutes after midnight when Shawn heard, want seemed to be rocks, hitting his window. Reluctantly he got up and opened the curtains to the window out looking his neighbors house, also know as Taylor's. He looked into the darkness. The light on his balcony illuminating the ground just enough for him to spot Taylor.

Shawn furrowed his eyebrows, and slid the window open. "What are you doing here?" He whispered-yelled, scolding the boy for coming over so late. Taylor chuckled, the one that got Shawn every time. "Come down." He said.

"Why?" Shawn questioned. "Because I wanna see you." Taylor said, smiling cheekily up at at Shawn. He sighed and gave in, "See you in a minute." With that Shawn shuts his window before making his way down the stairs quietly, and cautiously. Once off the second floor he made a straight shot for the front door, closing it softly behind him.

Taylor was waiting for him at the end of the stair case patiently. "Hey." He greeted Shawn. He replied with a wave, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his hoodie. "Why am I out here again?"  Shawn asks.

"Because we're gonna take a walk on the beach." Taylor says, tugging on Shawn's arm for him to follow. They start down the path that leads to the beach. It was quiet for the most part besides the distance sound, that was getting more clear, of the waves hitting shore as they came onto the actual beach.

"Ow!" Shawn shrieked as something prickly went through the bottom of his bare foot. Taylor turned around with concern, "What's wrong?"

"Something just went into my foot." He cursed under his breath. "Do you have a light?" Shawn asked. Taylor pulled his phone from his jeans pocket and turned that flash light on handing it to Shawn who held onto Taylor's shoulder for balance. He brought his foot up and seen a little sticker in his foot. He pulled it out with no trouble.

"... Are you done?" Taylor asked, referring to his phone. Taylor never liked anyone holding his phone. Not that he had anything to hide. Shawn raised an eyebrow, "You want your phone?" He questioned. Taylor nodded.

Shawn smirked and took off down the beach. It was cliche of him, but a good joke. Taylor groaned and took off after him. Shawn had made a mistake not knowing that Taylor was on of the fastest football player on his team back home in Indiana.

He quickly caught up with Shawn, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind to make him come to a halt. Taylor grabbed for the phone as Shawn gripped onto it.

"Give it to me, or I will throw you in the ocean." Taylor warned. Shawn stopped fighting against his grip, and turned around with the phone in hand, "If I go, your phone goes." He challenged, flaunting Taylor's phone.

Shawn ended up handing the phone over. They continued down the beach sharing a few laughs, and on going conversation about each other's ambitions and life. The later it got the tide seem to get higher, all the way to the sand duns.

"Let's go back." Taylor spoke, grabbing Shawn's wrist stopping him from going any further down the beach. They turned around, and headed back towards the path. It was once again quiet. A comfortable silence. Once off the path they stop on the sidewalk in front of both their homes. "I actually had a good time." Shawn comments with a crooked smile.

"I would hope so." Taylor let's a light laugh out. It would've been a huge bummer if Shawn had no fun with Taylor at all.

"Well, goodnight, Taylor." Shawn waves lightly before turning to walk away, leaving Taylor grinning at his success.
