[taylor's pov]
It was late at night. The ocean breeze flowing through the air. Seagulls squawking all around. Shawn and Taylor laid in the hammock in his parents just got placed in the backyard. Shawn's head rested on Taylor's chest, his arms draped over his stomach. It was quiet, and relaxing at this moment in time, to be laying there together.
Shawn and Taylor's relationship is progressing. Taylor never felt so deeply for someone as he felt for the boy laughing peacefully in his arms. Shawn's the perfect person. Everything about Shawn makes Taylor want him. Both of them could agreed, they loved having these late night talks, or just sitting in silence.
"I could fall asleep here." Shawn hums softly, eyes closed as he draws shapes with his fingers on Taylor's stomach. "Let's do it." He says. Shawn doesn't answer, but only pulls the cover they brought out closer towards his chest. Taylor takes this time to close his eyes, and pull Shawn's body more into his.
The breeze wasn't to cold, and it was clear skies. It was the perfect night to fall asleep like this, and that's what The two did.
[8:45am]
"Awe, they must've fallen asleep." Mrs. Caniff (Sharon) stands over the two boys fast asleep in the hammock. "Should we wake them?" Mrs. Mendes ask, crooning her head to the side. Admiring their sons cuddled together.
Taylor shuffles in his sleep. Coming more coherent as he opened his eyes allowing them to adjust. Taylor was confused when he seen the two moms hovering of them.
Shawn moves from beside him, and wakes up also. "Well, good morning sleepy heads." Sharon says, a bright smile plastered on her face. She's always been to much of a morning person, yet she was also a night owl.
"I came to look for Shawn, figured he'd be over here." Shawn's mom laughs softly. Taylor sits up a little on the hammock, Shawn does the same. "Oh yea. I forgot to text you, sorry..." He trails off.
"Oh no! It's fine. Just wanted to make sure you where ok, and we have to go out today. Be home in ten." She assures with a nod. The moms end up going back into the house, leaving Shawn and Tay alone. He rubs his eyes and drag his hands down his face.
"I should get going." Shawn spoke, leaning closer to the olde boy, and leaving a light kiss on his cheek, "See you later." Taylor's left dumbfounded, and questioning Shawn's actions. He brings his hand up to his cheek and trace his fingers against the spot Shawn's lips was once against.
A small smile creeps, and tugs on Taylor's lips. He was so flustered by such a small action. Taylor gets up from the hammock, and shuffle into the house. His mother was in the kitchen, stirring some food around in a pan. She looks up and gives her son a small smile, "Is that boy your boyfriend?" Karen asks.
Taylor blushes, "No mom. Just my friend." He gos to the fridge and grabs a can of soda from it. "Don't get to attached, son. We leave at the end of the summer." It was the harsh reality, but Taylor chose not to listen. There's a such thing as phones.
He says no more to his mom, and walks up to his room walking out onto the balcony. Taylor eyes find their way to Shawn's balcony. The window on the side of his house looking into his room was opened, well the curtains where giving Taylor a full view into Shawn's room.
His eyes widen. Oh my! Shawn was clearly naked. His back turned towards the window giving Taylor full view of his ass. It was quite the sight to see, but Taylor felt dirty staring. He quickly looked down, and tried to preoccupy himself on his phone. The image of Shawn's firm, perfectly shap- ok. Chill.
Only if Taylor knew Shawn had seen the boy catch a glimpse of his naked body.
