I rolled over in my bed, it was almost noon and I was just waking up from a long night of being out. It was my friends birthday last night and she had threw a party at her house. I groaned as my headache started kicking in I knew better than to mix Hennessy and Vodka last night but still did it anyways. I picked my phone up to check the time and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion at what I seen on my phone.

I opened my phone to read the message and rolled my eyes so hard they almost got stuck in the back of my head. I thought for a second about what I wanted to say or if I should reply at all. I just couldn't say nothing at all though.

Hey Shawn, im sorry about going ghost on you I know this is probably so random to you and out of the blue, but I'm coming back to California in a week. I really want to see you and talk about some things. If you don't I understand what I did was wrong but please give me a chance to at least explain.

It was short and straight to the point, but at this point I was feeling like fuck Taylor. He knew what we had, we talked about everything. I explained my hurt to him and all the times i let people in just to get let down and Taylor did exactly that.

My phone went off 30 seconds later, it was Taylor.

I chuckled at his emphasis on the word 'luv'. "Smart ass", I mumbled under my breath before texting up a reply.

Yeah, its definitely like that you went ghost on me there's nothing to explain enjoy your time in California 😘 im getting better dick now anyways. I'm sure that's all you miss.

That was a lie. No one has compared to him yet but I had to say something to get under Taylor's skin. It was only three months that didn't change the fact that I loved him and Taylor hurt me it was supposed to be different we were supposed to keep in touch. It made ne feel insecure like I just wasn't enough like everything Taylor ever told me was meaningless.

I didn't feel a need to reply just left him on read and went to Instagram and checked my notifications I smirked when I seen Taylor had hearted my picture that's why he texted me. I still couldn't shake the fact that he was gonna be back in California just 45 minutes away from where I live now. I know if we see each other all them feelings would come back and I just don't need that just for him to leave and ghost me after the two weeks he's here? No thank you.
