Part 4 ♥

***Reason, Season and Lifetime

People always come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they just walk away.

Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.

Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season. And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, the season eventually ends.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being part of my life.***

Elena's P.O.V.

Becca and I arrived at my house. My mum opened the door and looked at me.

"ELENA! Are you okay?!" She looked worried.

I nodded. "Yeah, sure..."

She realised that this wasn't really right. "Come on, Elena, tell me the truth!"

I stared at the ground because I didn't want her to be even more worried about me than she already was.

"Becca?! Tell me please!" She turned to Becca when she decided I wouldn't answer. I saw despair in my mum's eyes.

Becca gave me an apologising look before she turned to my mum then. "Elena's having headaches-"

She turned to me again and then whispered: "Sorry hun, but this time it's more serious than you think. You can't hide it anymore."

My mum looked shocked. "Elena? Is this true?!"

"Noooooo, I'm not HAVING headaches... I just felt a little pain for a second."

She pulled me in her arms and stroked my hair. "Don't you understand why I'm so worried? You're my child - I love you more than anything else on this earth."

"I know, mum." I mumbled.

Then she told me to come in and asked Becca to do that too.

"Aww no, thanks. I have to go home as well." Becca hugged me once again and then left.
