Elena's P.O.V.
I was with Louis and we were at the park with Harry and Sophie. It was a beautiful winter day. There was snow all over the ground. As soon as we went outside Harry and Louis started throwing snowballs at each other. After a few minutes they had the 'gorgeous' idea to involve me and Sophie and threw some of the snowballs at us. We wanted some revenge and started a snowball fight.
I was in a team with Sophie against the boys. It was really funny because we all ended up lying on the ground totally covered up with snow.
Moments like these were the ones, which made me forgetting everything else.
It was Saturday and we decided to go to Louis' because we were hungry and wanted to get something for lunch. On our way to the house we met Zayn and Cattie and invited them to come with us.
After the lunch we had a lovely afternoon together and when we had finished our dinner Harry, Sophie, Zayn and Cattie went home so Louis and I were on our own because his parents and his sister were visiting his aunt. They said they would come home late in the evening.
Louis and I decided to go for a walk with Marley when it happened:
Suddenly I felt a massive headache and everything around me became blurred. I tried to hold my balance but it was very difficult because I became giddy. Louis, who just came out of the living room started to run to me as soon as he saw me staggering. In the very last moment he arrived and caught me from falling.
"ELENA?!" I heard his voice. He sounded desperate but I still wasn't able to see him clearly. I felt how he lifted me up to carry me to the couch in the living room. After another few seconds my sight cleared up.
I lay on the couch and Louis was sitting next to me, holding my hand. I realised that I had tears on my cheeks as Louis wiped them away gently.
"How are you, love?" He looked really worried.
"I'm okay, don't worry." I wanted to touch his cheek to calm him a bit but it was so exhausting for me to reach out my hand.
"Louis, babe, Dr. Sutherland told me that things like that would happen someday. He said I was very lucky so far because I hardly felt something like that before."
He nodded but I knew he wasn't convinced.
I tried to stand up but as soon as I stood on my feet I was staggering again. Louis stood up immediately and put his arm around my waist to give me some hold. "What do you want to do?" He asked me.
"I have medications for situations like this. They're in my bag." I answered.
He placed me on the couch and said: "I'll get them, babe. Don't move, okay?"
I nodded and he went to get them. After a few seconds he came back with the bag.
I had a lot of medications in my bag. I searched for the right pills and swallowed two of them.
Louis sat down beside me again and put his arm around my shoulder. I leaned back on placed my head on his shoulder to close my eyes. We both didn't say anything. We were thinking the same - situations like that would happen oftener on the following days or weeks. And we both knew that the day would come - the day when we would have to say goodbye to each other. I sobbed - not only because I knew I would die, I sobbed because I knew I had to leave Louis on his own.
