Annabeths POV
I open the door and see that its one of the people that I've hated for awhile now, it's Thalia. She waves awkwardly"hey Annie" "what the Hera are you doing here and how did you find me?" I spat at her, "I came to apologize. Annabeth I'm so sorry! I know you may think it is, but it isn't my fault. He... He told me if I didn't he would abuse you, so I let him abuse me." At that she hit the floor and cried. I helped her inside and set her on the couch. "Oh Thalia. I can't believe you did that, why? Why would you do that for me?" She started t cry again "because Annie, you mean to much to me!" We both started crying and hugging she said "I left Luke, but I don't have a place to stay can I just crash on your couch or something?" "Thalia, you can be my roommate, I have extra bedroom and I mean I was about to start searching anyway for the school year! After what you did for me you can do whatever you want!" She said thank you a million times. I looked over at the clock and it read 7:15. "Oh my God Thalia we have dinner in 45 minutes!" "We?" "Yeah, the neighbors invited us to meet everyone on the floor. We have to get ready! I'm gonna get in the shower, be right back." "Umm okay, I need to borrow some stuff." she started rummaging through my closet, I came back and Thalia was in a black crop top, black jeans, her converse, a red beanie, and her signature lighting ring. I put on a flowy white shirt, Jean shorts, my black flip flops, and the owl necklace my mom gave me. She came over and sat down at my vanity and started to put black eyeliner and mascara on. All I put on was mascara because I was already wearing makeup. I looked at the time and it was 6:55.
We walked out of the apartment and she asked which apartment, I led her to Piper's. She looked at the number and before we went in she said "No way." "No way what?" I said confused. "This is my brothers apartment." I wheeled around on my heel, "you have a brother? Why didn't you tell me." She put on a smirk and said "you never asked." I laughed and said "touchè" at that we went inside.
When Piper opened the door and let us in the fist thing Jasin said was "Thals?!" "Hey Jace, I'm the new neighbor!" She seemed so happy until Jason dropped his jaw and said "wait, why?" She smirked (again) and said "because Annie needed me!" "Don't call me Annie!" I snapped at her. She laughed and said "you do realize that I call you Annie to annoy you right or did your mom give you zero brains?" I laughed and said "I know." We kept walking and sitting at the table was the boy with the green eyes.
Hey guys, so sorry for not updating in awhile, but just been a little busy with finals!
