Chapter 27

Percy
It was almost five o clock when Annabeth woke up and I had still been holding her. She was so pretty when she slept. Her blonde curls spread around her her long eyelashes resting on her cheeks. She was so beautiful. I sighed and she opened her eyes. She yawned and said "Percy?" "Yes, annabeth?" "What's for dinner?" "Anything you want." She smiled and said "can we have pizza?" My eyes lit up and I said "of course we can! Hang on I'm gonna order it." I grabbed my phone and ordered the pizza we always got and have both loved since we were sixteen. Pineapple. It's weird but she made me try it and I loved it.
After I ordered it I went back in our room and saw annabeth was at her laptop typing I tested my chin on her head and she looked up and kissed me. "What'cha doing?" I asked. "Emailing my boss." I stepped back "Why?" She wheeled around and said "because I think I'm gonna work from home. Take care of these three little ones while your at work and just go into the office as needed. Maybe even start my own architectural business eventually." I nodded and said "that's smart. I was thinking I might ask for a raise and if I don't get one I'll find a better paying job. Also we really should tell or parents, friends, and Chiron." She nodded and said "we should tell them all at once so maybe over a dinner?" "Yes. That's smart. When though?" "Friday?" I nodded and pulled out my phone and called every one.

Annabeth
"Percy, is everything ready?" The pancakes are almost done." We decided on a brunch because it's laid back and I have a craving for pancakes. I'm eleven weeks and I feel like something's wrong. The doctor said everything's okay but I just can't shake the feeling. "Earth to annabeth?" "Yeah?" "I asked of we were making the waffles blue?" "No the pancakes and lemonade is blue. That was the compromise. I'm pregnant not brain dead. Did you really think I was going to forget." He blushed and said "I was hoping." I laughed "hurry up there gonna be here any minute!" He laughed and scurried off. I finished setting the table and I put a bouquet of daisies add the center piece. Then I went to my room to put on clothes. I put on a floral dress and a pair of cork wedges. I came down stairs and everyone was there. Chiron was in his wheelchair all the babies and little kids. Tristan, Calia, Bianca, Mathew, Bobby, Andromeda, and Calypso's unborn baby. They may not count but to me it does. Everyone was sitting down while Percy brought out the food. We had been cooking all morning and couldn't wait to eat. Everyone sat down and Percy and I stood up. He started "welcome everyone! We have gathered you here to make an announcement." I finished "I'm pregnant... With triplets!" Everyone smiled and I heard a chorus of "Congratulations!" And I heard a certain Latino boy say "Thats a lot of kids. How are they gonna have that many kids?" I laughed when I saw Calypso glare and smack him upside the head. Percy said "let's dig in!" And grabbed the nearest blue thing. We started eating and I could see a smile on everyone's face. It was amazing!
I went up stairs the the bathroom and noticed blood in my underwear. At first I thought it was my menstural cycle and then realized you don't mensturate when ur pregnant. I miscarried. I started sobbing and ran downstairs. I looked at Percy and he hugged me. Everyone's face fell. "Annabeth... What's wrong?" His voice shook and I whispered "I miscarried." It was so quiet everyone heard me. I heard gasps and Percy looked down at me with tears in his eyes. "It's gonna be okay. We are going to get through this." I hugged him tighter and cried harder. This was officially the worst day of my life. Everyone gathered around me and hugged me Calia came over and hugged me as well as Tristan. This is real. I don't have babies anymore.
