Chapter 24

Annabeths POV
The stick said positive. That meant I'm pregnant. What is Percy going to think. Wait if that happened two months ago then I'm two months pregnant. I have to talk to Percy. I nodded and started to walk out of the bathroom when I was hit by a wave of nausea. Morning sickness. Then I grabbed the test and walked out. I'm so scared I mentally prayed to mom. Help me through this mom, I don't know if I can do this. What do I say? 'Hey Perce, Oh yeah I'm pregnant. By the way.'  but mom help me do this. I saw Percy in the kitchen making a sandwich when I said "hey seaweed brain, what do you think about having kids?" He looked at me and said "well, I don't know. I mean I would absolutely love to have kids down the line, but why do you ask?" I said "well, because, I'm pregnant." I held up the test. He smiled and gasped. He picked me up and spun me around. "I love you so much! How far along are you?" "Well. I'm about two months. I think." "Well we need to make an appointment to make sure the baby is safe." I nodded and he grabbed my phone and handed it to me. I called the nearest hospital and made an appointment.
~~~~two weeks later~~~~
I woke up to Percy whispering to my belly "hi, I'm your daddy. I love you very much and can't wait to meet you. Mommy loves you very much to." I pretended to be asleep when Percy said "Wise girl you are a terrible liar." I laughed and said "what time is it?" "Almost eight" I jumped out of bed, the appointment was at 8:30 and it takes forever to get to the hospital. I threw on a pair of Jean shirts and a pink polka dot tshirt. He was already wearing a blue tshirt and tan shorts. He had left the room and brought me a stack of blue pancakes. Because of course they were. I threw them down and checked my watch. 8:07. "Percy we had to be on the subway five minutes ago." He started laughing and threw me my shoes.
We got to the subway and thank the gods that the subway arrived when we did. We hopped on the seven train and was at our stop in twenty minutes. We have three minutes and it's a five minute walk. Percy started running and I did my best. Then a group of hell hounds, jumped out of an alley way Percy grabbed the nearest passerby. "Sir get her to the hospital, we have an appointment but I need to take this." The man nodded and Percy turned to me, "Annabeth, I love you. I'll be there as soon as possible." He kissed me and I started running. When we got to the hospital, I turned around to thank the man and I realized who he was. "Andrew?" "Yeah." He tried to kiss me, but I pushed him off. "What the hades are you doing?" "Annabeth I love you more than Percy ever could. Please be with me. That baby might look like Percy but it could be mine. So will you be with me." I punched him in the face. "No." There was a minute left when Percy came running I was running with him and we made inside and checked in exactly at 8:30.
We sat down in the room and while we waited for the doctor I held my belly and started crying. "Annabeth what's wrong? What happened?" I cried harder "Andrew was the guy that helped us. He tried to kiss me ansd when I wouldn't let him he said and I quote 'Annabeth I love you more than Percy ever could. Please be with me. That baby might look like Percy but it could be mine. So will you be with me?'" He looked me dead in the eye and said "No one can love you more than I can, I need you to understand that. It doesn't matter how busy I am, say the words and I'm yours. Always and I will never lose you. Ever." I smiled and he kissed me. The doctor walked in and said "Everything okay?" I nodded and she told me to lie down. She spread goo all over my stomach and a picture came up on the sonogram machine. But what showed up surprised me. Not one baby, there were three.
