Chapter 30

Annabeth

So I'm going to be a Goddess? When Percy and I got home it finally hit me. After we got what we asked for Zeus explained what was going to happen, he said in exactly two months we would be called back and our godly parent would announce what we would be the god or goddess of and our duties. He also said that we would stay where we live and that the ceremony would be held at Camp Half Blood, he also said we can invite anyone we want. So, in two months I'm going to be a goddess. I'm also pregnant with one baby at the same point I lost all three children. To anyone else this is impossible but for us its pretty possible. This is not the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me. Or Percy.

I was home alone because Percy was at work. I wasn't thinking and there was a knock on my office door and had the shock of my life. I yelled "COME IN!" with out looking up from my laptop. I here a familiar voice say "hey bethie." I looked up from my laptop afraid to turn around. One person and one person only calls me that. I spun my chair around and said "Luke. What the Hades are you doing here?" I stood up grabbed the knife that I've kept on my desk sense Andrew broke in (I also kept one in the drawer in my bedside table but that's besides the point.) I held it behind my back and walked up to him and I pointed it at his chest and said "I said, What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" He smirked. "I came here to see my wife and child, he held my belly and I shivered in disgust. I pushed him against the wall and held the knife to his throat. "Don't touch me! get out of my house before I call the police and I'm not your wife, I left you and divorced you, this isn't your child and I'm Percy's wife, also I'M FINALLY HAPPY! GET. OUT." he laughed and said "Annie you don't mean that." I pushed the knife harder and said "Don't call me that. Ever." I heard footsteps downstairs and Percy yell "Annabeth I'm home!" I smirked and Luke's face fell. He was scared. "Percy, I'm in the office. Hurry I need help!" I yelled back. I heard him running up the stairs. he burst through the door and when he saw Luke his eyes turned dark. He said "do you really need help?" "Yes I need help getting him out of our house." He nodded and put his hand on Luke's shoulders, I backed away and he flipped him so his stomach was against the wall. Percy took his arm and shoved it between his shoulder blades. Percy to his other hand and tightly held his shoulder and started forcing him forward, I opened the door and walked behind them. I opened the front door and Percy shoved Luke outside and before I slammed the door I said "Never come back, ever!" and I slammed the door. I turned around and hugged Percy. "Welcome home." he laughed and said "I missed you and our little one." he kissed me and he got on his knees and kissed my belly. I giggled and said "We find out the gender next week." he smiled bigger and said "I know." I hugged Percy and he rested his chin on my head "What gender do you want?" He asked me. I backed up and bit my lip and said "I don't know... what about you?" His lips lifted to a smile a he said "I want a little girl with your beautiful blonde curls," he ran his fingers through my hair and ran behind my back and spun me like we were slow dancing "my eyes," he pulled me in for a kiss "your chin."  He pulled me into the kitchen and spun me again "my goofiness." He flipped on the radio that we had "your stubbornness." He dipped me and kissed my nose "and finally filled with a love that can't be explained, a love for whatever she loves." He pulled me in a kissed me passionately. I blushed to the roots of my hair and he laughed. I whispered "I love you." "I love you too." We just held each other and rocked but not like we were upset, we did it with smiles plastered on our faces and we were happy... until there was a knock at the door and it was Piper. She had tears in her eyes. "pipes, what's wrong?" Percy asked. He was standing behind me with a hand on the small of my back. The first tear streamed down her face "Jason." "Whats wrong with Jason?" I asked her gently "Hera" was the only word she could say before she started sobbing and crumpled to the ground.
