Chapter 3: The Vic Came Back

"Marilyn Manson is awesome!" I say happily as I look at Chris. A huge smile goes on his face as he gets onto his phone and scrolls through. 

"So before I became Mr. Serious Alpha I was a a fun teenager. I got to go to a Marilyn concert!" he says as he shows me a picture of him and Marilyn Manson. They were standing together and they both were smiling. Well Marilyn was doing his weird one lip snarl thing.  

"Wait you mean you got to meet him!" I ask wide eyed as I take the phone and look at the picture. He laughs as he nods his head.

"Yeah! He was awesome!" he says. I fall back onto the bed and starfish. 

"I want to go to a concert! Back at my old pack I never really got to do anything unless I was asked to do it for a chore, or Vic was with me. With me being an omega no one really involved me in anything." I sigh and I feel the bed dip down besides me, then I see Chris looking down at me. 

He has crawled on top of me and was looking down at me with a slightly tilted head and a huge smile on his face. 

"Well you wont have to do a lot of chores, and if you want to go do something just let me know then you can go." he says looking into my eyes with a kind smile on his face. I nod my head as I wrap my head around what he just told me. 

I was free. Sure I had to tell Chris I was leaving, but that was for my own safety. No more getting yelled at if I clean something wrong! No more feeling that just because of my rank I was worthless "Thank you Chris." I whisper. His smile grows then he leans down and kisses my cheek. 

I smile at the sparks that erupt on my cheek. He pulls away and I just look into his brown eyes for a while. Then we hear a knock on the door. Chris groans and rests his forehead on mine before climbing off of the bed and walking over to the door. He throws open the door and I walk up behind him.  

I look over his shoulder and see the guy who brought me to the office yesterday. "What do you need Ricky?" Chris asks. Ricky? Oh that's what his name is! 

"Vic and Jamie are here from the Pierced Veil pack. They want to know if a girl named Adrianna is here." he explains while glancing at me. "I didn't tell him about you, but I needed to let you know." Ricky says looking back at Chris.  

"Wait. Vic and Jaime are here?" I ask walking over to them. Ricky looks at Chris then at me and nods.

"Yes." he answers. I smile then shake my head. What the hell are they thinking? Coming to get me? I don't want it to be up to me about what we do here. I guess I should leave it up to Chris cause he knows how to handle things better than I do. "I needed to tell you cause I don't know what you would want me to say to them." Ricky says and I sigh then look at Chris. 

"It's up to Chris. What are you going to tell them?" I ask looking up to him. God he is so much taller than me. I mean Vic was taller than me. Now I have Chris. Damn. 

"I want to tell them no; your not here, but it is up to you. Do you want them to know you are here?" he asks me looking me dead in the eyes. 

"Yeah. I want to talk to them. I have things to say to Vic about the rouge attack... and I kind of want to rub in his face I found my mate." I say the sigh. "He always said I wouldn't." I mumble the last part but Chris heard it. 

Chris grabs my chin with an evil smile. "Well you did find you mate, so yeah. Lets rub it in." he says placing his hand on the small of my back. I smile then he pecks my lips. Once that was over he looks at Ricky and releases me to where he isn't holding me right up against him. 

I sigh as we walk out of the room with Ricky leading us to where Vic and Jaime were. I look at Chris and give him a small smile; for which he returned. "I wonder why they came looking for me?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows.
