Chapter 18

A huge smile goes across my face as I look at the test in my hands. I let out a little squeal and do a dance. "So I'm guessing it's positive?" Gerard asks. I look at him, and nod my head happily. He smiles at me then comes over, and hugs me. 

"You're going to be an awesome Mom." he says and I feel the tears in my eyes. 

"You're going to be an awesome Dad as well. Your little one will be here anyday." I say, and he nods happily. 

"Are you sure that Chris is okay with he or she being born into the pack?" he asks and I smile nodding my head. 

"Yeah! He was actually happy you decided to have he or she born on pack lands." I say, and Gerards smile grows. 

"He really has changed since he met you." he says, and I nod taking a deep breath. 

"Yes he has, and I think it's been for the better. I hope so." I say, and Gerard just looks at me. 

"I have never seen a pack be so happy. Sure there are the few jackasses that starts fights, but have you seen your pack members? They all have smiles on their faces. It cause Chris is no longer the cruel man he use to be." Gerard says and my smile grows large. 

"Really?" I ask happily. Gerard nods then I hug him again. "I need to go tell Chris." I say, and Gerard laughs. 

"Go tell him, then wash your hands." he says and I laugh. He winks at me then I walk out of Chris and I's room, and head to his office. I knock on the door, then walk in. 

Chris looks up at me, and smiles when he sees me. I hold the hand that holds the test behind my back as I walk over to him. "What are you doing baby?" he asks. 

"I just have something to show you." I say handing him the test. He takes it from me, and looks at it. After a second his eyes go wide, and he looks at me. 

"Really?" he asks and I nod my head while biting my lip. Chris jumps to his feet, and wraps me in his arms. "I'm going to be a daddy?" he asks. 

"Yeah baby. I'm pregnant." I say, and the biggest smile goes on his face. Gently he puts me down on my feet, and kisses my forehead. 

"We're going to be a family." he whispers. I nod, and wrap my arms around his waist, then he wraps his arms around my shoulders. Tears come to my eyes as I stand with Chris. I take in a deep breath, and Chris pulls away from me. "What's wrong Ari?" he asks. 

"Nothing. I'm just so happy. I never thought I would be telling my true mate I was pregnant, and feel him hold me in his arms." I say and Chris's face falls. 

"Well you just got all of that, and I will hold you in my arms for the rest of our lives." he says then kisses the top of my head. "I'll hold both of you in my arms for as long as I shall live." he says, and I feel my heart explode. 

"We love you Chris." 

"I love you two too."
