Chris Motionless Is My Alpha And My Mate!

Chapter 12

"Aunt Ari!" Lanie yells as she runs over to me, with a scared look on her face. I lean down, and pick her up on my arms. She hides into my neck, then a bunch of kids come running from around the corner, but stop dead in their tracks when they see me. 

"Oh no... it's the old Luna." one of the kids says and I take a step back. The old Luna? What the hell do they mean? "Aunt Ari... they are being mean." she says and I look back at the kids. 

"What were you doing to my niece?" I ask and they all take a deep breath.

"W-we are sorry Lanie. We won't do it again." they says, and Lanie looks at them. 

"Promise?" she asks and they all nod. She smiles at them then holds onto me again. I wave off the kids then head into the pack house. All kids run off, and I run Lanie's back. She is a lot more vulnerable to teasing that Isaac is. "Are you okay sweetie?" I ask and she nods. 

We walk into the living room, and Tony sees me with her in my arms. "Shit." he says as he walks over to us, and takes Lanie into his arms. "Teasing again?" he asks and I nod my head. 

"Mama? The kids called Aunt Ari the old Luna. What does that mean?" Lanie asks and Tony's eyes go wide as he looks at me. 

"Umm. Nothing sweetheart." he says looking at me like we will talk later. I nod then look over and see Mike playing with Isaac. Chris has been in meeting with the other Alphas today, and King Ronnie is here.

Isaac looks over at Lanie, and his eyes go wide as he jumps away from Mike and runs over to her. "Are you okay Lanie?" he asks and she nods. He pouts as he wraps his arms around her. I smile at the two, and take a deep breath. 

He always has looked after her so well. Mike smiles at the two then looks at me. 'Why did the kids call me the old luna?' I ask over mind link, and his eyes go wide. 

'Cause you were our Luna. Vic has given up on finding his mate.' he replies back, and I nod my head. 

'He alway said I would never be a Luna.'

'Well... he never thought you would leave him.' he says and I look at the ground. I love Chris and I would never give him up, but I kind of feel bad for Vic. I sigh and Mike smiles. 'He's fine. You found your mate. Be happy.' he says and I nod. 

I am happy with Chris, and I love my new pack. A smile goes across my face as I think about it and Mike smirks at me. "No! We are not going to make these decisions without Luna support!" Chris yells as he walks out of the meeting room. 

I look at him and raise my eyebrow. "I have to agree. We can't agree on this until the mother of the pack agrees as well." Ronnie says as he walks out, and my eyebrow raises again. 

"Well not all of us have Luna's!" Vic yells, and everyone looks at me. My eyes go wide, and I scratch the back of my neck. Chris walks over to me, and wraps his arm around my waist. I smile at him, and he smiles at me. 

"We have another meeting in an hour. All Lunas will be present." Ronnie says and I nod, then he walks off. I look up and Chris and give him a weird look. What was so huge that I have to be there for? 

What was so huge that all the Luna's had to be there for? 'They are thinking of making a new law... that if a mate is already in a serious relationship... she has to stay in that one unless both the male and female agree to part.' he says to me over mindlink. 

My eyes go wide as I look at Vic. 'Let me guess. He came up with this' I say as I look at Vic scowling. 

'Yes.' he says shortly. Vic meets my eyes and I glare at him. He looks down at the ground, then I look at Mike. His eyes are glossed over meaning he is talking over mind link with someone. 

The room was quiet and tense. I look over at Tony and he looks at me weird. 'What is happening?' he asks me through mind link. 

'Your Apha is trying to make a law that will make me come back home, and be with him.' I say and he gasps as he looks over at Vic. Tony's eyes gloss over, and Vic's eyes go wide. I sigh then walk outside, and over to the rose garden I spent so much time in.   

There were all sorts of different colors of roses. Red, white, yellow, orange, and pink. They all looks amazing. I smile as I walk over to the original rose bush that I planted so many years ago. "Oh how you have grown." I say looking at it's petals. 

"It's beautiful. I made sure someone took care of it... after you left." Vic says and I freeze in my place. 

"What do you want?" I ask and keep looking at the roses. 

"The only woman I have ever loved back." he says and I sigh. 

"Victor... that's not how it works." I say as I turn around and see him standing there looking at me. 

"I know... but I never thought you would leave me. I-I should have listened. I should have gathered up the strength to leave what I couldn't change... and that was that I loved you. That I wanted you to be my Luna, even if your weren't my mate." he says with a sad smile on his face. 

"I love you too you know, but after being knocked down everyday. Still merely being an omega that somehow caught the eyes of the alpha, but never good enough to be a Luna." I say and he gives me a sorry look. 

"I am a fool, and Chris is lucky. I know the law won't pass. I made a mistake... again." he says laughing a little. I smile at him, then walk over to him.

"I love you." he says looking me in the eyes. I take a deep breath then smile.  

"I did love you, but now I am happy where I am. You should try to be as well." I say kissing his cheek then walking off. I head over to the forest, and look at where I grew up and ran around. I sigh as I look at the green trees, and blue sky. 

Then I feel arms go around my waist, and I look up know that it's Chris from the shocks that ran up and down my body. "You handled that well." he says and I smile. 

"I just said what I would want to be said to me if that ever happened to me." I say and he nods then leans down and kisses the top of my head. I sigh and lean back on him. 

"The laws not going to pass." I say, and Chris nods. 

"I know." he says and I close my eyes. 

"Why does life have to be so fucking hard?" I ask, and he shrugs. 

"Cause if it wasn't we wouldn't be able to enjoy the easy parts." he says and I smile. 

"I love you."
