Nothing is Wrong with a Little Happiness

Sunlight peaks through the windows of the cabin as the morning begins for Bellamy and Clarke. It was peaceful. Sounds of Earth filled the area and Clarke squirmed slightly in her sleep until Bellamy's arm tightened around her waist subconsciously in comfort. She stilled and fell back into her last ten minutes of sleep.

As the world woke up the small family of two and a half began to come alive. Bellamy woke first. His hands rest gently on his wife's rounding belly as he places small kisses to her neck before gently extracting himself from her sleeping form. He gets dressed for the day then runs to make breakfast for his beautiful wife.

As Clarke wakes up she notices her belly first and smiles. Then she notices the empty bed and the smell of cooking surrounding the small cabin. Her smile grows as the sun glints of the gold band around her finger, reminding her who is cooking in the other room. She puts on a flowery sundress knowing she doesn't work today.

She meets her husband in the small kitchen. Her arms wrap around his midsection calmly. His left hand comes to rest on top of her hands. "Good morning, Princess." Bellamy whispers softly. Clarke places a kiss in between his shoulder blades.

"Good morning, Bell." She kisses him gently as he turns his head.

They're happy. Nothing else matters. Not the tension between Clarke and Octavia. Not the tension between Bellamy and Abby. Nothing. Only the happiness they feel every morning before they go to face the scary world they live in. Only each other and the small child growing inside Clarke that they made together because... They are happy. And nothing else matters.
