Their daughter was just as unexpected. More so for Bellamy.

Clarke was furious with Bellamy. He wouldn't see reason and she was now avoiding him with every fiber of her being. She would pick Oliver up from his friend's house and walk back to their house to find Bellamy

When Annabel was born she was too small. She had been born a month early. Clarke was devastated. Bellamy was quiet. Oliver, now 3, was utterly confused. Octavia had decided it best for him to stay with her, Lincoln, and their son James for the time being.

Once Annabel was 5 months old Clarke held her for the first time. Bellamy didn't touch. He was terrified. What if he dropped his precious little girl? He wouldn't be able to handle the grief.

After Annabel was a full 7 months old, even Oliver had held her, with Clarke's help. Bellamy was still avoiding holding her or touching her. Annabel is the size of Oliver at 3 months right now. And Clarke needed Bellamy to break his hesitation.

"Bellamy..." Clarke groaned and sneezed.

"Honey, are you okay?" Bellamy asked as he knelt down in front of her.

"I think I caught that flu that's going around. I better get out of the same room as Bel." She sat up and started towards the dropship. "There's breast milk for her in the ice cooler." Clarke gave him no choice but to watch Annabel for the day.

As Clarke left a squeak came from Annabel's crib. Bellamy sighed and walked up to her crib. Her crying stopped as she looked up at her father. Bellamy noticed the deep brown eyes and hair his daughter had. Annabel had curiosity in her eyes. But as she watched her father she reached up and touched his finger. Bellamy smiled at the small gesture and moved his hand to move Annabel's hair. Annabel had fallen back to sleep not five minutes later.

By the time Clarke reappears suddenly incredibly healthy, Bellamy and Annabel are playing peekaboo on the bed. She smiles and sits next to him. "How was your day?" She asks leaning on his shoulder.

"It was... perfect." Bellamy seems to be in a different universe than he was that morning. "I don't know if you noticed but I was absolutely terrified to hold Annabel."

"Oh, babe, I noticed." I said with a laugh and smiled at the sleeping Annabel.

"Of course you did." He set Annabel in her crib and laid back on the bed. "She's beautiful, y'know."

"She looks just like you. Strong. Smart." She snuggles up to him.

"I love you." He whispers.

"I love you more." She kisses his cheek.

"Not possible." He kissed her and soon he was sleeping with his most important girls next to him.
