"Time flies when you're having fun."
That's what people say.

Well, my version is:
"Time flies when you need to review."

In just a few days, finals week will be over. The review season will finally come to an end, and the season of divine intervention will come next. In this time of year everyone seeks the help of a higher power for the promotion boards. Literally everyone. Well, ofcourse, except for those chosen few who seem to be born ready for this.

I am actually scared to death. My physiology grade is hanging by a thread along with biochemistry.
Please, God, grant me your mercy!!!

"Hey," Logan snaps his fingers in front of my face, shaking me from my thoughts.

"Are you listening to me?" His eyes are in a thin line, his eyebrows all scrunched up. Man, he can really get scary.

"Huh? Oh. Yeah, yes. Ofcourse." I said nodding my head frantically.

"Then what's your answer to my question?" He said, raising his eyebrows.

"Well, umm." I look down at my notes to see if there is anything that could pop up. He was reviewing me a while ago before my thoughts drifted. Raising both of my hands, I continued,"I surrender, I don't know the answer. Silly brain, always forgets stuff. Haha!" I said with a fake laugh.

"Well, that's too bad. I don't know the answer either." He smiled a bit, sat back, and crossed his arms.

"Well, then why did you ask that question in the first place?" I said raising my eyebrows. I am saved!

"Well, I just thought that it'd be polite to ask you what you want to order, cause I'm actually going to go and order something for myself." He stood up, clearly amused about what happened, and continued, "By the way, once you 'remember' what it is that you want, feel free to order yourself."

My jaw dropped at the level of stupidity I just displayed. Someone please give me a gun, I am just gonna shoot myself.

It's been over a month since I have known Logan, but it feels like I have known the guy forever. I am pretty much comfortable around him, and I guess he feels the same way around me.

I went back to highlighting my book and writing some important notes on my index cards. Brain, you have got to focus now. We don't want to fail right?!

As I was silently giving myself a small pep talk, Logan sat back down on his chair, still with a wide grin. Obviously not letting go of what happened earlier.

"Oh, would you wipe that smug smile off of your face!" I said while pushing his face to the side.

"No-pe!" He proudly replied, popping the 'p' sound for emphasis.

I just shook my head and continued reading. Thankfully, he did the same.

After a few moments of silence spent on reviewing, the waiter came up to set Logan's order. I moved some of my stuff so he could have some space.

"Pasta Bolognese?" The waiter asked. And Logan motioned for him to set the plate on his side of the table.

The smell of the freshly cooked pasta sure did stir up my hunger center. I looked back down to my notes and try to focus on studying instead. I've got to order one later.

"Penne sausage pasta." The waiter said as he set down the plate on my side.

"Wha-- wait. You might be mistaken, I didn't order anything." I quickly replied.

And before the waiter could even say anything, Logan answered, "I did. So just eat. Good thing I do remember what kind of food you like." He said with a wink. "What will you ever do without me?"
