Chapter 10

I opened my eyes to see a beautiful meadow, with a chair and table in the middle. There were candles lined in a circle around the meadow. But that wasn’t the amazing part. All around the meadow dancing around were pixies, all no bigger than 4 inches. They were in all different colours lighting up the meadow like fireworks.

“Damon, it’s beautiful,” I said smiling broadly. He looked at me and smiled.

“I knew you would like it,” he said pulling me over to the table. There were too goblets with blood in it. We sat and drank, talked and laughed. When we were done he got up and took my hand.

“Let’s dance,” he said.

“But there is no music,” I said. And as soon as the words left my mouth, the pixies started dancing around in a slow circle around us until we were lifted into the air. Then a soft enchanting song started to play.

“What’s that?” I asked looking at the ground.

“The pixies are playing the song of nature” he said. The he took my hand and put it on his shoulder while one of his hands went on my waist and my next hand he took in his. Then we started to waltz. I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS; WE WERE WALTZING IN THE AIR!

“This is amazing,” I said and he twirled me in a circle. The pixies were now scattered around the meadow dancing creating a beautiful show of lights.

“It’s all for you,” He said. I smiled and kissed him. He pulled me closer and slipped his tongue into my mouth. The kiss was long and sweet and when we pulled apart, I laid my head on his chest while he twirled me around in small circles. This moment is perfect, I thought smiling to myself.

When we got home, Damon walked me to my room and when we got to the door I turned to him and smiled up at him.

“Thank you tonight was amazing,” I said.

“You’re welcome, anytime,” he said. I tiptoed and kissed him softly before turning away and entering my room. Sonja didn’t come up tonight and I was just fine with that, I didn’t feel like talking right now, all I wanted to do was reminisce of what happened tonight. I quickly went through my night routine, then went to bed and fell asleep quickly.

When I woke up I felt so happy. I quickly showered and dressed, then ran downstairs to breakfast. When I entered, Abigail was the first person to badger me about what happened last night.

“Come on! Tell me, I command you!” She said pointing a chicken leg at me.

“You can’t magically make her tell you with a chicken leg, Abigail,” Drew said, taking the chicken leg from her and quickly eating it. God I swear that boy good eat.

“1) I can do what I want you overgrown mutt and 2) who the hell told you can eat my chicken leg! You need to stop feeding your damn face,” She said. And I laughed.

“But seriously what happened last night??” Rehana said.

“Guys stop bothering her; if she doesn’t want to tell you then she doesn’t want to tell you, just drop it,” Damon said and I sent a grateful smile in his direction.

“That’s okay, I’ll tell you, Damon took me to a meadow where we had blood while we talked and then we came home and he kissed me goodnight,” I said. I didn’t want to tell them all the details because I wanted it to be mine and Damon’s special night.
