Chapter 16: Noobs Meet Count Venamus

(Katie's POV)

After about a week I was starting to feel better and just in time too!! The new virus warriors and recruiters convention is this week and this will be my first time going since all the last times Mem and Zen went something came up for me.

Anyway, Mem and Zen decided to tell the noobs the day we were leaving about it just to catch them off guard. However, being the nice person that I am I dropped a couple subtle hints for the noobs to pack their bags before hand. They would thank me later.

We were on the Galacticus and why Mem and Zen picked today of all days to tell the noobs about Count Venamus I'll never know. Anyway, they were freaked to say the least. Ha, Kevin even said he was about to cry. "Actually we are going here." They stepped away from the screen and rolled the commercial. It looked pretty cool and would be pretty fun and then they showed the recruiters award.

I mean it's pretty cool but I have won so many awards for a bunch of random shit back on Krypton that I wouldn't really care if I got the reward. Zen turned off the screen and said "Ah, an award that I covet but won't get because we recruited noobs and YOU ARE ALL TERRIBLE!!!" "You know you can try and be a little more nice to us." Roach said. "Yeah the only one that's ever nice to us is Katie." Kevin added pointing to me while I smirked and shrugged. They weren't wrong. "Oh well how bout this." Zen said as he and Zen raced to the pilot's seat. "Prepare for quantum boosters." Shit. As he engaged the boosters I quickly grabbed a nearby handle and braced myself. The noobs weren't that lucky.

I felt my feet leave the ground and clenched the handle harder while the noobs flew back and slammed against the back door. As I was trying to regain my footing I looked up and saw Mem and Zen laughing their asses off and that pissed me off. "YOU ASSHOLES!!! YOU'RE LUCKY I DON'T BURN WHAT LITTLE YOU GOT OFF WITH MY HEAT VISION!!!" They just laughed harder. I'll get them back just you wait.

Soon enough we arrived at the convention center. "Okay, now let's make a strong entrance to show the convention what great warriors you are." Mem said but there was one problem with that. "Uh Mem don't..." But he opened the door where the noobs just so happened to be still stuck to so they tumbled out of the Galacticus and landed in a heap in front of a couple warriors who laughed. "Dumbass." I mumbled and facepalmed. Mem and Zen already took the noobs ahead to go check in while I headed up to the room to go get ready. But as I was walking I had that feeling that I was being watched but when I turned no one was there. So i just shrugged and continued on.

(Count Venamus' POV)

As those two big oafs of recruiters walked away I turned visible again along with my minions. "Every new virus warrior in the galaxy in one place. And soon they will all fall to the virus when they eat the Zowbon moose." I was about to laugh maniacally when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I turned invisible again and turned to see the most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes on. It was a girl who's face was perfection itself that I had to have her.

As she walked away inside we turned visible again and I said "Who is that?" "Katie Pri sir the only Kryptonian recruiter." I smiled evilly "Katie Pri huh? Well not only will I infect everyone here but I will make Katie Pri my bride!!" I then laughed maniacally.

(Mem's POV)

Kat had to go and get ready for the meet and greet so Zen and I had to go check in. As we walked up to the desk who we saw made both of us groan.

"Well if it isn't Memnock and Zenblock. Winners of the recruiter of the year award never times!! Ha ha!" Zen and I just rolled our eyes. "Hello Rovu. I see you brought your seven awards with you." Somehow he won those even though he's a douche but whatever. "And I'm about to make it an even eight." He said and snapped his fingers. Two very good looking warriors came in. Zen and I were speechless. "So where are the new virus warriors from sector E942?" Rovu said a little too cheerfully. Again Zen and I were at a lost for words when the noobs came running in front of us. "Hey can we order a movie tonight?" Kevin said. "And room service." The others added. Rovu and his recruits stared at us for a minute and then busted out laughing. When they finally calmed down Rovu wipes his eyes and said "The meet and greet is in five minutes followed by the awards dinner at seven." They then walked away laughing again. It was silent until Kevin said "Instead of the meet and greet can we go to the hotel pool?" "I CAN'T STAND YOU NOOBS!!" Zen yelled while face palming.
