Distant Dreams

Firstly, I'm going to start off this story by explaining the fact that my goal is ti keep it as gender neautral as possible. And its supposed to take place a few years ago when Jeffee Star was still doing music, maybe 2010-11 it may not be totally accurate. But I'm trying to interpret it in my own way but still keep it realistic.

"What the FUCK is this?!" My stepdad yells as the door crashes open.

"Great.." I think "right as I was about to finally fall asleep too"

"I'm so sorry!" My mom sobs
"I didn't mean to burn it!"

"You do this every fucking night!" He screams, which by the way is absolute bullshit, my mom works her ASS of for him! She never burns dinner usually, the only reason she did tonight is because she had a panic attack way worse than she usually does tonight, it took me two hours to help her calm down from it...

I try to tune out the rest of this episode of violence as well as I can, I grab my headohones and play my go-to happy song. "Fame and Riches Rehab Bitches" from Jeffree Star's brand new album.

I don't know what it is but I've always been able to connect with Jeffree in ways I can't with other artists. Maybe its just because of how fearless he is and how he really puts herself out there and has no problem doing so.

Don't get me wrong, I definately love my Hollywood Undead and BMTH. But Jeffree has always been my favorite by a landslide!

Just hearing this instead of the conflict down the hall helps me drift off at last.

The next morning, being Saturday, I sleep in a bit. The first thing i always do is check Facebook, I make sure to check Jeffree's page daily, especially now since there are lots of warped tour updates coming out. I'm so excited to go to it! I've been going since I was 11. I'm 16 now. I've seen Jeffree Star as well as a lot of other kickass groups and artists every time!

I recently entered a give away for back stage passes to Jeffrees show. I don't expect to win, but I figured i Should at least try.

And that was the biggest and best suprise I'd seen all day.
There, in Jeffrees latest post, was my name as well as four other people's, I checked about twenty times just to make SURE it was me.

This was the craziest, most surreal thing to happen to me so far in my entire life! I was legitamately going to meet my idol!
