This story will be based on the idea I received from @leigh7822. I hope I'll do it justice and that you all will like it!

With a heavy sigh Stevie gave up and put the phone down, after once again getting no answer on the other end of the line. It was tiring, as lately she was the only one trying to keep the relationship alive. Did she love him? Of course she did, but more often than not, Stevie was thinking that maybe she just had to accept the fact her and Joe's relationship was finally over.

Aware of the problems, Stevie's friends decided to get her out of the house for a fun girls' night out. She hoped she would still get a chance to talk to her boyfriend before leaving, even if it was simply a quick hello and how are you. Well, that didn't work out, as usual. Needing some time with her friends, after the failed phone call, Stevie decided to go and start getting ready. Although, she wasn't sure were they were going and what they were doing.

Just before 7 pm, the doorbell rang and Stevie was met by three of her best friends, once she opened the door. "Come on in. I'll just touch up my makeup a little."

"Oh, God... As if you need makeup!" Lori rolled her eyes, following Stevie inside the house nevertheless. "Though of course, when we're going to be in the presence of such a hot man..."

"What are you talking about?" Stevie frowned. "What have you lot got planned?"

"Lindsey Buckingham is in town! We're going to see his show." Seeing the skeptical expression across Stevie's face, Lori elaborated. "Come on, you have to know him. His song, Trouble, that was playing literally everywhere."

Shrugging her shoulders, Stevie reapplied her lipstick. "I vaguely recall the song."

"It's going to be great!"

Soon the four women were on their way to the venue, were said singer was performing. While her friends were chattering away, Stevie, for some reason, couldn't relax and let loose. Most likely, everything going on in her relationship being the answer as to why.

Before long, the car stopped and the group got out, making their way into the building, where lots of people were already anxiously awaiting the start of the show. Stevie was pleasantly surprised when they reached their seats, seeing as they were front row. The audience still had to wait for about half an hour, until the star of the night walked out on stage, guitar in hand, to thunderous applause.

Once she finally saw the man, Stevie recognized him, having seen him in a magazine or on TV, in one of his music videos probably. Now she wished she had paid more attention to him; his voice - she loved, the way he was playing the guitar and... well, Lori was right, he was definitely nice to look at. After quite a while, Stevie was finally enjoying herself.

"I wanted to thank everyone for showing up tonight." Lindsey said, after one of the songs. "I just released a new record and I would really like to play you a song from it. It's called, Slow Dancing."

Stevie listened carefully, with that title, what she heard was not what she expecting. What she also was surprised by was Lindsey glancing at her, then winking as he was singing...

You're just the kind of thing to catch my eye

She couldn't stop herself from smiling a little, as he then looked at her again.

Let's go, slow dancing in the moonlight
Let's go, want to slow dance with you all night

Wondering for a moment whether that was on purpose or not, Stevie then decided to let it go, feeling silly, being so focused on a moment like that. Clearly, Lindsey Buckingham was a charmer and of course he was going to play the audience to the best of his ability.
