Chapter 8

When I woke up I was in Ethan's arms. I guess I slept through the car ride and airplane ride. Ethan looked down and I immediately snapped my eyes shut. I was disgusted with myself he surely wouldn't want me as a mate anymore after being used. I'm tainted. He probably wanted me untainted but I'm now I'm tainted. I heard Ethan sigh. I was then set on a soft surface and I heard my door shut. I opened my eyes to see that I was in my room. I got off of my bed and walked towards my dresser. I grabbed some Victoria secret sleeping shorts and a Nike crew neck sweater. I walked to the bathroom after grabbing some nike crew socks. Pulled off Ethan's flannel and stepped out of my leggings. I examined my body to find out I had various bruises and cuts on my body. I turned away from the mirror and pulled on my clothes and socks. I pulled my hair up into a messy bun and crawled over to my bed and fell asleep. I woke up suddenly to a knock at my door. I walked to my door and pulled it open. Ethan stood there with a tray of food and a Nike water bottle. As you can tell I'm obsessed with Nike. "I brought you some food" Ethan said. He shoved the food into me and slammed the door shut. I wasn't hungry or tired anymore. So I just placed the tray on my dresser and grabbed the water bottle. I have this huge window where you can sit and look out it. So I grabbed my water bottle and a book and sat next to the window. After a couple of minutes I fell asleep for the 100th time today. It's been at least a week since I have been back. All I do now is sit at my window read my book and sleep. Of course I shower and stuff but I just don't leave my room. At all. Ethan has brought me food and everything but I still don't eat it. I alternate between my bed and my window. I always just sit in my window and watch the kids play around while the adults watch. Ethan had brought me food and I walked to my dresser and just stared at it. I picked up the fork and moved my food around a little bit. I put my fork down and walked into my bathroom. I slowly peel off my clothes and undergarments. I stare at myself. My stomach has gotten a little bit better. My bruises and cuts are healing so that's better. I turn on the water and step into it. I wash my hair and body. I get out of the shower and dry myself off and brush my teeth. I step out of my bathroom and change into leggings and a sweatshirt. I decided to let my wolf out for a little bit so I put on my Nike sneakers and put my hair into a messy ponytail. I walked out of my room and shut the door quietly. I tip toed out of the hall way. I peeked around the corner and saw that no one was there so I ran towards the back door. I opened the back door and ran out it. I saw that nobody was outside so I ran out into the woods and stepped behind a tree and took off my clothes and folded them into a pile and shifted. I grabbed my clothes in my mouth and ran around. I saw a cliff and walked up it. I laid down and felt the breeze. I sat there for a half an hour. I finally got up and ran back to my house. I then went back behind a tree and shifted back and put on my clothes. I walked back into my house to see everyone running around. "Where is she should couldn't have ran away again because if she did then she is going to the cells I can't deal with this all she does is sit in her room and not eat I need a strong mate not some used up garbage" I heard Ethan say. I slammed the back door shut. Everyone's heads snapped at me. "You really think I could help that he raped me. I tried to shove him off I tried but apparently trying isn't good enough for you" I spit. "Now if you excuse me this garbage needs to go upstairs so please move" I growled. Ethan was in my way and was not moving. I shoved Ethan across the room and stomped upstairs. I grabbed my water bottle and a purse. I put my phone headphones and phone charger and a lot of changes of clothes along with some toiletries. I walk back downstairs to see Ethan recovering. "Where are you going this time" Ethan groaned. "Well you said I'm going to take her to the cells so I got some stuff and I'm ready" I said. I then walked down to the basement where the cells where held. "Pardon me" I said scooting past a guard. I walked into a room like cell. It wasn't the nicest cell but it gave me privacy. I shut the cell door and sat down on the bed. I set my purse down and took a nap. I woke up to banging on my cell door. I opened it to see Ethan. I have barely been down here for a day and he's already begging. I grabbed my purse and walked out of the door. I walked upstairs and into my room. I'm on summer break right now so I don't have school. I jumped on my bed and kicked off my shoes. I slipped my leggings off and put on some shorts with a tank top. I then put on some greys anatomy. I soon drifted off to sleep. I woke up feeling productive so I got out of bed grabbed some clothes and made my way into the bathroom. I did my daily things and dried off. I put on my high waisted shorts with a black tank top with a cardigan that reached my shins. I then put on cute little sandals. I curled my hair but left my face natural. I grabbed my phone and water bottle and walked out of my room. I walked down the stairs into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. I ate my apple and grabbed my car keys. I then walked out of the house and got into my red mustang. I drove to Starbucks. I ordered a waffle cone frappé. Once my drink was done I walked out of Starbucks and walked to my car. I set my stuff down and started my car. I soon heard my phone ringing and I saw it was Ethan. I answered it. "Hello" "Summer you need to get home now" "why are you scared I'm going to rush off again" "No I just got a weird call about you and I'm worried" "fine I will be home soon" "good" After that I hung up and locked my doors. Honestly I was very scared. It could be the vampires trying not to get me again. I don't think I explained what my powers can do. I am basically the key between the werewolf and vampire world. I am a hybrid. There are two parts to me. There is my vampire side and my werewolf side. I never really let my other side out. She is dangerous. I can basically destroy one or the other. I can destroy werewolves of vampires. Or I can have them live in harmony and destroy myself. So we are not going to fight until they are sure that I can live after the war. They say that it is impossible but I believe in miracles. But the vampire king wants me so he can have the key and so he can rule all of man kind. Yes it's very weird. I can shift into a full vampire or into a full werewolf. Now that we have that out of the way. I was sitting in my car just thinking about all of this. I didn't realize that there was someone knocking on my window. I looked up to see Jeremy. My eyes widened and he wickedly smiled at me. "Did you miss me" he grinned. It happened in slow motion. Jeremy smashed the window. Small glass shards cutting my skin. He unlocked the door. He opened the door and dragged me into a back of a van. How the hell is no one seeing this.
