Chapter 19

I was walking out of Starbucks when I bumped into somebody. I looked up and smiled about to apologize. I was met with a gorgeous face. He had chocolate brown hair and it looked so soft I could run my fingers through it. We locked eyes and the world around me crashed down. Was this my second chance mate? I snapped out of my trance when he smiled. "Mate" he whispered. I was right. I smiled in content. "Hello" I smiled. I couldn't take in anymore I hugged him. I breathed in as his scent raced around me. "My name is Summer" I said in his neck. "My name is Stephen" He said and hugged me back just as tight. I was way shorter then him so my head slowly slipped to his chest. I looked up to see him already looking at me. "You have no clue how long I have been waiting for you mate" He whispered. I grabbed his hand. "Well I won't be leaving anytime soon" I smiled. "Let's go back to my house" I suggested. Stephan nodded and had me lead him to my house. I let him in and lead him to the living room. I sat down next to him. "So tell me about yourself" Stephan said. "Well I did have a mate before you but he was a complete douche bag and he ran off with my vampire self which is a complete bitch and so I moved here" I said. "I'm so thankful that the moon goddess gave me another mate" I said. "Same" Stephan said. "Well my full name is Summer Mae Hayes I like the color blue and I love reading." I said. "My full name is Stephan Mason Smith and my favorite color is green and I love reading too." He said. "I jumped up lets do something" I said. He slowly got up. "How about we go to the beach." He suggested. I nodded my head and ran upstairs to get changed. I put on light colored jeggings with a white criss crossed tank top and a dark red cardigan to go over top. I brushed out my hair and placed a flower crown over my hair and put on a little bit of makeup. I slid on some tan little high heeled booties and walked downstairs. I smiled at Stephan and grabbed his hand. We walked hand in hand to the beach. Once we got there I slipped off my shoes and dipped my toes in the water. Soon arms wrapped around my waist and lifted me up. I squealed and smiled. "Stephan let me go" I laughed. "Never" he said pulling me over his shoulder. I laughed even harder. Until I heard a clearing of someone's voice. "Hello Summer" The voice said. Suddenly I was on my two own feet facing Ethan and Rosalie. "Why have you come here, I have found my second chance mate and I'm happy now leave me alone" I said turning away from them. "Ah we figured you would say that now come on stop fighting with us because we have something you might want." Ethan said. "And what might that be" I glared. "We have your friends" Rosalie smirked. I gasped. My head dipped down and I started walking towards them. "That's it" Ethan said. My hand was suddenly grasped by Stephan. "What about me" he asked his eyes pleading me not to go. "I only go if my mate can go" I said. They groaned but agreed. I slowly made my way to the van. I climbed in after Stephan climbed in after me. I suggested him a smile. He didn't return it. I shifted behind me to see Mason and Adriana. She was crying while Mason was holding her comforting her. I rested my head on Stephan's chest and fell asleep. I woke up when I felt cold water being splashed on me. I hissed when I felt stinging on my wrists. I saw that they were burned and bloody. "What the hell do you want from me" I turned and faced him. "I want nothing to do with you" he said. "Then why am I here" I said. "Because you have another thing I want" he said. "What might that be you stripped me of my vampire what else do you want" I pleaded. "I want to leave you weak and useless. I want Rosalie to be the heir of my pups because your a "rare" wolf" he said. "And since your rare you will heir the strongest pups" he said. "No your not getting my wolf" I screamed. "Honey you don't have a choice" Rosalie said walking out of the shadows. "You can't my wolf somewhere she doesn't want to be" I said. "Well good thing we have a witch for that" Ethan smirked. A witch the departed Rosalie walked in. "Let's get started shall we" she said and cracked her fingers. I wasn't going down without a fight that is for sure. One thing a werewolf possess is that whoever they bite can kill them. There is no cure besides my blood but for my blood to work we all have to be combined. That includes myself Rosalie and my wolf to be connected in my body. I let my canines grew. I hide them. Once the witch went to touch me I bite her arm. "Ahhhh you little bitch" she hissed. I broke the chains and went up to Rosalie. She was backing up while I was stepping forward. I saw Ethan run up on my side. I pushed him in the wall and I heard a loud crack. Finally I had Rosalie backed up against a corner. I smiled at her and bite her. "You will be dead soon" I smiled and waved. I then walked out of the cell and locked the door. Now it's time to find my mate and friends.
