After I said my little speech we all walked back to the pack house and ate. Almost all the people that bullied me were scared of me. Even if I walked past them I could smell the fear. By time the whole pack stopped eating it was 12:00. It was now time for us to go back to the clearing and watch me shift. It was sad that I was going to ruin such a pretty dress. By time we got there I could feel the moons radiation on me. I was close to shifting. I had my heels in my hand. Once we got to the clearing I dropped my heels onto the ground. I felt an overwhelming pain in my stomach. It felt like I was being stabbed 1,000 times over and over again. I let out an ear piercing scream of mercy. I then curled up into a ball and tried to stop the pain. I felt my finger tips turning into claws and my canines stretching. I heard my clothes rip and tear. I felt hair spring out of my body all over. I soon was looking all over in a crouching position but instead I was on 4 paws. "She is beautiful" My father whispered. It was a tradition that some had brought a mirror every time a wolf shifted for the first time. I looked into the mirror to see a black wolf with a white patch on there forehead and 2 white patches on her left hind leg and a patch on her right front leg. My ears also had white at the tips of them. My eyes are what got me. My left eye was a bright baby blue like my mothers and my right eye a chocolate brown like my fathers. I really did look beautiful. I loved how my wolf looked. Even when I thought this night couldn't get any better I smelt the best scent ever. I started walking over to the smell. People where parting in half as I walked through. I was soon in this little path of people with me walking through it. At the end of it I realized that the smell was coming from the one and only Ethan Dolan. Stella was yelling mate over and over again in my head. I just looked at him. I felt a strong pull to him. I knew it was true he was my mate. I couldn't deal with rejection. So I ran. I ran all the way back to my house in wolf form it felt amazing. I shifted back it didn't hurt as much. But I changed into some leggings and a sweatshirt with some slippers and walked over to the pack house. I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door that lead to Ethan and Grayson's room. I knocked and Grayson opened it. "Hey is Ethan here" I questioned. "Um yeah I think" He stuttered. "Ok can I come in" I asked. "Sure" he said stepping to the side. I will admit there room was very nice. Grayson then showed me where Ethan's room was. I knocked on the door and waited till Ethan opened it. The door swung open and there stood Ethan. His scent overwhelmed me. He smelt wonderful. "Hey" he said gruffly. "Hi" I said. "Look-" I cut him off "Did you know I was you mate" "Well ya I found you a year ago" He stated. "And you never told me you just decided that it would be better not to tell me and let me figure it out on my own... You also just continued to bully me but worst what kind of mate are you and to think I thought that you actually liked me before you started bulling me it was probably just a trick for you to get close to me I mean everyone wants to get close to the Alpha's daughter" I ranted. "Y-you liked me" Ethan stuttered dumbfound. "NO I EVEN LOVED YOU" I screamed. "Let's just get the rejection over with Ethan" I said staring at my slippers. "No" "What do you mean no" "I mean I loved you heck I still love you it's hard not to love you" he stated. "THEN WHY IN THE HELL DID YOU BULLY ME. I AM YOUR MATE AND I WAS YOUR BESTFRIEND BUT YOU DECIDED TO DITCH ME FOR PEOPLE YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW" I yelled. I didn't give him time to tell me why because I stomped down the stairs. I ran all the way home. I climbed into my bed and fell asleep.
Next morning
I woke up feeling very productive so I skipped into my bathroom and did my bathroom needs. I then put on a white crop top with some high waisted shorts and a red knit cardigan. I threw on my converse. I did my hair with a braid in the back and then I Bobby pinned it. I also got my nails painted in a white color with a gold accent nail. I then grabbed my phone and book bag and walked out. I went downstairs and kissed my mother on the cheek and walk out with the keys to my black and blue mustang. I got this one custom made and I really like it. I got out of my car and locked it. Once everyone heard the beeping to my car there heads turned to me. Even the populars did. I smiled and waved to all of them. 'Today was going to be good' I thought to myself. I walked to my locker and now with my sense sharper then ever I can catch anything. Like this morning a slut walked past and tried to slam my hand into a locker. It didn't happen like that. I grabbed her by her shirt and pinned her to the wall. "What do you think you were trying to do there" I said cocking my head to the side smirking. "Um" "That's what I thought miss Isabel now if you ever try something like that again I will have you and your family turned rouge what I said yesterday was not even close to a lie" I said narrowing my eyes at her. "Yes Alpha" she said. "Good now run along pup" I spitted "and don't even think about looking my way ever again" I said with venom. She scurried along and I got on with my day.
Lunch time
Ah lunch time where food fights are things and cliche groups. I walked into the lunch room and everyone immediately bowed there head in respect. I guess miss Isabel told everyone. Good know they will know not to mess with me. Once I nodded my head that everyone could go on with there conversations people started welcoming from all over. I just walked over to my normal spot and sat down. Soon a bouncy red head walked over to me. "Hello my name is cherry" I looked up to see her staring at me with green eyes. "Hello" I said. "You can probably guess who I am" I said. "Summer you" Cherry started but I had already caught the flying bowl of mac and cheese. "Give me a minute" I said. "Take all the time you need" she said. I got up and threw the food away. I knew who exactly threw it. I walked straight over to his table too. "Which one of you goblins threw the Mac and cheese" I said my voice booming with power. Isabel raised her hand. "Didn't I already warn you pup" I seethed. "Hey don't talk to her like that" a boy said getting up to defend her. I chuckled darkly. "What are you going to do about it bud" I said daring him to do something. "This" he said trying to through a punch. But I grabbed his fist and twisted it. I then pushed him over the table. "Last time I checked you weren't supposed to challenge an Alpha Max." I said. "I know your father wouldn't be very proud of you at all once I tell him what you have done... Especially since he is one of the greatest fighters we have" I said. "I'm so sorry Alpha" he cried. "This is the last time that you dare challenge me got it pup" I said. Letting him get up I walked away. Everyone was looking at me in shock. No one and I mean no one has ever seen a popular cry before. I just shrugged it off and walked out of the cafeteria. Outside of the cafeteria the famous Ethan Dolan stood leaning up against the wall. I saw him looking at me. I shrugged at him and walked past him. While I was walking past him he grasped my wrist. I gasped as electricity ran threw my body. "Can we talk" Ethan pleaded. "I don't think that is the best idea" I said. "Please" he begged. "Fine" I said. He interlocked our hands and lead me outside. "Here sit" he said pulling out a seat for me. "Thank you" I said sitting down. "I want to explain myself" Ethan said. "Ok start explaining" I said telling him to go on. "Well in 8th grade I was planning on asking you out I loved you and I still do. But it all changed. Some of Max's and Isabel's friends walked up to me and said that if I didn't turn on you that they would make your life a living hell worst then what I did. And I wanted what was best for you and if they said that I if I didn't do anything then they would take matters into there own hands and Summer I hope one day you can forgive me as a friend and mate" he said looking down. "Well I think I can forgive you as a friend but forgiving you as a mate that is going to take some time" I said looking at him. "YES" he said jumping up and grabbed my waist spinning me around. I started laughing really hard. He had set me down and looked into my eyes. "Can I kiss you" he said. I nodded. He started leaning in and so did I. Our lips touched and it felt like magic.
