Chapter 25

Have you ever been in a state to where your body feels asleep but, your mind is racing. This was the current state I was in. My body was unmoving while my head keep wondering. I tried to flutter my eyes open but, it felt as though cement had been stuck to them. I had finally got my eyes to open. I looked around and I was still on the ground. The pain in my stomach had faded but, not before I had realized I was in a pile of my own blood. My eyes widened and I was shocked. I pulled up my shirt and glanced at my stomach. The blood was not coming from there. I sighed in relief. I then realized if the blood wasn't coming from my stomach it must have been coming from down there. Uh oh. I quickly got up. Even if I did get my period it wasn't good. I ran my way to Dr. Lena's office. Everyone was moving out of my way as I was running full speed. I ran into a room to find Lena. She saw the look on my face as I was slightly pale. She helped me up to the table and began putting on the gel. I didn't care if it was cold. She started up the ultrasound and began scanning over my stomach. I felt tears wilt up in my eyes as there was no fetal heartbeat. I had quickly wiped off the gel and whispered a quiet thank you and walked out of there. I kept my head down and walked to my house. I walked in and I was engulfed by Ethan. I couldn't hold back the tears. I hugged him back tighter. My sobs being muffled by his shoulder. He rubbed my back soothingly. He whispered little nothings in my ear as I soon drifted off my sobs filling my ears as I drifted.
*Ethan's POV*
She was asleep in my arms. She had tear streaks on her cheeks. She was cuddled up on my chest. I was upset yes. I did want to start a family with her. I couldn't help her and it made me feel helpless. Her head was in my lap and I played with her hair. I heard her groan but, she was still asleep. She was holding her stomach still groaning. I scooped her up and ran to the pack house. I took her to Lena. I had mind linked Lena and told her I was coming. I charged my way into a room and sat Summer down. She was still asleep and was groaning. I lifted up her shirt as Lena walked in. There were bruises on her stomach looking as if she had just gotten beat up. I shook my head looking at the bruises, they were not there this morning. Lena raised an eyebrow at me and I shook my head. Lena then pulled out many different machines hooking them up to Summer. Summer let out an ear piercing scream. Her shirt was filling up with blood. I pulled up the shirt quickly, in bloody letters it said

I looked at the words shocked. What had I just read. I looked at Lena. She knew just what I thought. It was witches magic. Who would pair up with a witch though, the only witches that could do it were black witches.
