I woke up the next morning still wrapped in Ethan's embrace. Today was the funerals for both of my parents and the rest of the people that died while fighting. I got up and brushed my teeth. I then brushed my hair and curled it. I then put it up into a bun with little braids. I did a black smokey eye. After that I walked out of the bathroom and walked to my closet. I put on a flowy black off the shoulder dress with a thin strap keeping it up. I then found some black heels with silver sparkles incrusted on the back off the heels. I then slipped on a black ring along with my Luna ring. I stared at the Luna ring my father gave me not to long ago. I got up and walked out the door. I was going to become Luna and Ethan was going to be Alpha. I walked downstairs to see everyone dressed in black. I made my way up to the stage. "Welcome everyone, to the ceremony of my parents and pack members funeral. We have lost a lot. Some people lost family some people lost mates. I know it's hard but tomorrow I will be introducing the new Alpha. I know your probably think why is it so soon? But I can't run a pack by myself. But I know one thing. We are going to become the strongest of the strong we will get over the deaths and continue to live our lives like it's our last. Take chances because you never know when that chance may be taken away. You are dismissed to buffet in the back" I said and walked down the stage. Cherry was waiting now for me. Ever since she sat with me at lunch we exchanged numbers and became best friends. "That was great speech you did. Your going to be a great Luna" Cherry gushed. "And your going to be a great female beta." Yes I did say female beta turns out she is Grayson's mate. "I know I'm so excited for tomorrow" Cherry squealed. "I'm going to have so much respect and responsibility" I sighed. "You miss them don't you" Cherry said. "Yes I miss them a lot" I said. Cherry nodded her head and keep quiet and pulled me into a hug. "It will be alright your going to be a great Luna" she said and rubbed my back. "Thank you" I said. "Well I should get back to Grayson" "Ditto" I said. I walked into the room and scanned the room for Ethan. Soon my eyes landed upon him being cornered by Rebecca the chick from the party. Ethan look at me with fear in his eyes. She was leaning way to close to Ethan for my liking. I walked up to them. "What do you think you are doing with my mate" I growled. Rebecca turned around fear present on her face. "U-um L-Luna Summer I-I di-" "Oh you didn't know Ethan is my mate what a surprise last time I checked I ripped you off of him at the party and I thought that gave you enough of a hint to back off" I said. "If I ever see you that close again if you even lay one horribly manicured nail on my mate again you will regret it" I said. She nodded her head very fast and scurried away. I looked over at Ethan and hugged him. "Your not mad are you" "not at you at least" I said. I grabbed his hand and lead him over to a table that Cherry and Grayson sat down at. "So have you found out who is going to be third in command" Cherry asked. "Not yet I'm still looking" I sighed. "Don't worry you will find them" Cherry smiled. "I hope" I said. Tomorrow for the coronation for Ethan I will also be introducing me as the Luna, Grayson as the beta, and Cherry as the beta female. "So Summer do you know what your wearing tomorrow" Cherry asked. "I have already picked out the perfect dress" I said. "Will I get to see it?" Ethan asked. "Your funny" I laughed. Ethan started pouting. "Don't worry you will see it" "I will" "ya of course but you will have to wait" I said. He crossed his arms over his chest and started pouting again. I patted his head "aw Ethan you will be fine" he huffed and I laughed. "Well I think I'm going to get some food because I'm starving" I said. "Actually Summer I have to ask you something" "yes" I said raising my eyebrow. "I have 2 tickets to a twenty one pilots concert" "and?" "I was wondering if you would like to go together" Ethan asked. "No" I said. "What" Ethan said looking heart broken. "I wouldn't like to go I would love to go" I said. Ethan wrapped his arms around my waist and spun me around. "I know there your favorite" "when's the concert" I asked. "The day after the coordination and then the after party" Ethan said. "Yes" I said hugging him. "Well guys we are going to head back to our room it's 12 am" Grayson said. "Same" Ethan said. We walked back upstairs. When I entered the room I threw my heels back into my closet. "Ethan can you un-zip my dress" "sure" he said. I felt his cold hands on the back of my neck pulling the zipper down. Once the dress was off he kissed my mark. I shivered under his touch. I flipped us around and started kissing his chest. I made my way up to his neck. "Can I mark you" I asked Ethan. "I thought you would never ask" he whispered. I kissed where is shoulder and neck meet and bit into his flesh. I stayed in for a couple of moments then pulled out and locked the wound. I then kissed Ethan. We both got changed into our pjs and fell asleep in each other's arms.
