Aruka: Dale, go do your job. Villagers need some help around the village. (He left, and I sensed the calming presence getting stronger, when I faced right.) Garroth... (I stepped forward, cautious.) I'm here to talk and see if you're alright... (I felt around for him, the feeling getting stronger.) I'm blind, ya know, I could use a little help. (I scoffed, and I heard steps towards me. My hands brushed against armor and cloth, then my breath hitched.) .......Garroth...? (I felt his chest plate, then his arms that seemed to keep me from falling forward. I was hesitant to go any higher, but trailed my hands to his shoulders and neck. I could feel us both tense at my touch on his skin. I went further up, and felt his face and hair. His facial features were that of Vylad's, but a bit older by a few years, and his hair was a little long in the front, but trimmed on the back and sides. He was actually very young in my opinion; nothing like Aphmau had described him, before.) I'm sorry your helm fell off and got damaged.... (I let go, and hugged him.) I'm also sorry for being helpless in the battle. I know it must have been hard to fight Zenix.... (He sighed, and I released him and smiled.) But, thank you for having my back.

Garroth: No problem, we gotta stick together, right..? (I nodded.) How did you become blind, exactly? I don't recall you getting into anything like that during the attack. (I scoffed.)

Aruka: Zoey did it to limit my movements, like fighting or helping around the village.

Garroth: I see, she knows what she's doing, then. (I hit his shoulder, playfully.) Hahaha.

Aruka: Ha. Ha. Don't remind me, alright? (I turned from him, and sat down in a crisscross position, placing my elbows on my legs, my arms lined together with my hands making a Moon and Earth symbol.) I won't bother you, Garroth, I'm just trying to focus my other senses on my surroundings. I need to learn how to live without my sight, and use my other senses to see.

Garroth: Use your other senses to see...? (He sounded confused, and I didn't blame him. I guess it doesn't really make sense, but it would have to work, in my case.) Alright, then.

Aruka: Thanks. (I breathed slowly, relaxing myself to the point of complete peace in my soul. I let all of my senses venture around me, as I focused only on my surroundings. I made hand signs of sound, touch, scent, and taste. Sound was what I crucially needed to hear others from afar, not to mention, I would feel what volume of density the soundwave released, and know which direction to follow the soundwave. Touch was the sense of feel that sound would vibrate in, because sound had the ability to bounce off the objects around them to create soundwaves, that were felt and could vibrate in those objects.
By doing that, I could feel when someone is breathing, when something is in water around me, when danger is near, or when someone lies. By feeling the earth around me, I could tell there were many people above me, in the village. I also can tell what temperature it is around me. By feeling this, I could tell I was in a cave. Scent was also something I needed to improve. It was the sense of smell that helped me know what types of beings were around me, what could be poisoned, what scents to avoid, and what has been here, previously. Taste was the sense of flavor that helped me discover the new foods around the world. With the help of scent, this helped me find the fruits and vegetables that were harmless to eat, when I ventured the forests and woods on my travels.
After all those senses were focused on my surroundings, I could see many things from my position without opening my eyes. Like, the villagers working to rebuild their homes, Lord Aphmau's house with Zoey taking care of Levin in the basement, Kiki taking care of the injured animals, Garroth standing a few feet behind me in a daze, and I spotted something else at the docks, that was unusual.)
I'm taking my leave, now, Garroth. (I stood up, balancing myself.) I just saw something rather odd on the docks. (I dashed to the docks, but stopped on a hillside that looks over the docks, on instinct, sensing an unfamiliar presence.) 'Who is that...?'
(I also sensed Aphmau and a wyvren on the docks, and ran to a secluded area in the woods, where many different kinds of flowers grew, on the outskirts of the village. I sat there, letting my senses take over my surroundings, as I waited for her to find me.)
'I don't want her to worry about me...' (I sat peacefully, listening to the sounds of nature and feeling the breeze gently blowing past me. I was barely able to hear a heartbeat, off in the distance, and slowly yet quietly, grabbed my arrows, readying my bow, as they got closer.)
'Someone is definitely over there...' (I caught their scent, which was not Aphmau, but a male, though it smelled familiar. He was a lot closer, now, and I drew back my arrow, aiming in his direction.) Who goes there?! State your name, traveller!
(I stood up, and glared at the man's figure, walking out of the shadows. I grew confused, when I saw his face, and I slightly lowered my bow.) What...?
