Kawaii-Chan: Aruka-chan!?! (She gasped, catching me, as I fell, and took me downstairs.) Maid, Kawaii-Chan needs you to gather our medical supplies in my bag! And hurry! I'm not sure if she's fine!
(The little maid ran upstairs and did as she was told, coming back down the stairs, only this time she was being followed by the man named, Brendan.) Oh! A villager! (She set me down against the wall, and turned to him.) Kawaii-Chan needs help with checking her vital signs!
(He hurried over, and helped her with anything she couldn't already handle herself.) Maid! Get the bed! (Doing as she was told, the little maid hurried to get it, and Kawaii-Chan focused her magic on keeping me stable.) 'This is bad.'Brendan: So, what happened here?! (He watched her, ready to help if needed.) Is she hurt?! (She sighed, shrugging in uncertainty, the worry on her face very evident.)
Kawaii-Chan: Kawaii-Chan isn't really sure, but she collapsed out of nowhere, and we just missed Aphmau-senpai! (He jolted, the maid came back with the bed, placed it down, for them to pick me up and set me down on it.) She's expecting, which is more concerning...!
Brendan: Wait, that's Aruka... (He sat down, shocked.) I was in such a slump, that I didn't notice a woman in need. (He hit his forehead, as Kawaii-Chan tilted her head.) Nice going, Brendan...!
Kawaii-Chan: That's alright, because you're here, now. (She smiled, and he blushed, turning away.) My name's Kawaii-Chan, nice to meet you, Brendan. Thank you, too.
Brendan: Welcome...! (His voice cracked, as he chuckled.) Nice to meet you, as well. (He turned to her and smiled.) I figured since you were new here, that you might need a builder to spruce this place up, a bit. (She looked at him, as she got up to make tea.) So...
Kawaii-Chan: Of course, you're welcome to help out Kawaii-Chan whenever the time arises! (Her golden amber eyes sparkled, as she prepared the tea for them to enjoy.) The more the merrier, Brendan.
(After a few minutes of them chatting amongst themselves, discussing the type of build that she wanted the cafe to be and decorations, the tea was ready and she carried the tray over to the bed.) Tea? Kawaii-Chan must thank you, again.Brendan: It's really no biggie. (He accepts the offered cup of tea, as he gazed at the liquid inside it.) I'm more than happy to assist in building you're cafe, it may take a day or so.
Kawaii-Chan: Kawaii-Chan knows that and it'll be fun to conquer a challenge like that!
Brendan: Huh. (She sipped her tea as he thought it over.) The positivity in your perspective is so overwhelming, ya know that? (They smiled at each other.) It's very refreshing.
Kawaii-Chan: Why thank you for the flattering compliment. (I stirred in my sleep and they jolted, turning towards me. I was stretching, as a yawn escaped my lips, the scent of warm tea dancing delicately across my nose.) Aruka-chan! You're awake!
(I winced, covering my ears, a headache forming at the overwhelming sensory around me. She noticed my discomfort and pinned her ears back in apology, giving me a cup of tea.) Sorry... how are you feeling...? (I took a sip and smiled.) You collapsed earlier...Aruka: I'm fine, now... promise... (I rubbed my eyes in exhaustion.) Just a vision and lack of sleep, because of the twins... (She nodded, making since of it, while Brendan looked thoroughly distraught from the new information.) I'm sure that they don't mean to be restless...
(He appeared to be sulking, after hearing that and I scoffed.) Relax, it's not your fault you didn't know. You were in your own little world. (He glanced at me, I smiled.) I do it too, sometimes. Don't worry too much about it.
(I sat up completely and finished off the tea while we had a short conversation.) I must leave you, now. My fiance is possibly done working on the basics of their room, by now.
(I got out of bed, while they tried to talk me out of it and eventually gave in, waving me off, as I left.) 'I know they mean well, but I'm not THAT out of it... I can walk just fine even with the twins.'
(I made it to Lady Aphmau's house and saw Levin crawling circles around Dale in the playground. I sat down while watching them, just to rest after the long walk, enjoying the blissful silence.) 'I hope to have my own children have such energy when training.'
(Shortly after I get my fill of rest, I got up to leave Levin in Dale's care, when I saw the boat was still here and my fiance was talking to the sailor.) That's rather odd. I know I said he was done with the basics, but I didn't know he'd be out here, conversing with the sailor.
(I walked down to the docks and Lucias froze, seeing me struggle with my feet sinking in the sand, and rushed over helping me to the docks with a giddy smile on his face.) Thank you, dear. I've come to despise sand getting in my boots, lately. So, what are you doing?Lucias: I'm asking this sailor if it'd be alright if he took me to a few places to get more materials and supplies for the village and for the twins' room. (He had his arm around my waist almost in a protective manner, along with caring.) The trip should be around a day or so, if I'm not mistaken....
(He glanced toward the sailor, and the sailor nodded confirmation.) So, I'd be back by tomorrow, darling. (I jolted, blushing slightly at his term of endearment, looking away, puffing out my cheeks.) Will you be okay here without me, until I return? I can go some other day if you feel like it's best for me to stay here...Aruka: No... (I smiled at him, caressing his cheek.) I'll be fine here. I have Lady Aphmau and Levin to keep me company, while you're away. (I let out a soft laugh, as he smirked, taking my hand from his cheek and kissing my palm.) Besides, you won't have another chance to leave after this, because you'll miss the special day. Leave now, and you'll be back in time, will you not..?
(He sighed, nodding, as he turned to the sailor, showing that he was ready for departure.) Do not forget to make good trades with the villages you come across. (He nodded, approaching the boat, as I sighed watching him climb on and the boat sail off in the distance. I managed to get back to solid ground and passed a few villagers on my way to the house, as they called out my name, saying hopeful praises to my giving birth when it comes down to it.) 'I guess, considering my name is actually Diana, I should stop answering to the name "Aruka", huh...? Nah... I'll keep it.'
(I entered our home to check on the progress of the twins' room, and it looked rather decently sized and had some good lighting, not to mention well over enough space, if I knew where this was going, correctly.) Hn. So, you want to make two bedrooms or one massive room to give them space...
(I walked over to the unfinished area leading up like a beginning staircase and sighed, feeling another wave of nausea as realization hit me.) MORE stairs.... But, even if he does finish it, I'm not going up there when I feel like a penguin, who swallowed four rocks.
(I went into the kitchen, opening the fridge to see a big bowl of chopped fruits and veggies with a note saying, 'I know you're mad even if you say you're not about me leaving, today. Don't deny it. So, to make up for springing this on you, I made a healthy binge snack for you to eat for the remainder of the day while I'm gone. See ya, tomorrow. Love, Lucias. P.S. - Don't do any heavy lifting or get into any trouble! Love you, bye!') Thank you, Lucias, dear...
(I sweat-dropped, taking the bowl and closing the fridge, walking to the back porch and taking a seat to watch nature expose it's beauty around me.) 'If you knew, then do me a favor and DON'T do anything reckless. I can't see past divine powers like yours, so please don't do something you'll regret.'Aruka: Hey, guys! Been a bit, hasn't it? So, my dilemma has been slightly cured from writer's block, yay! I can proudly say there will be some chapters coming, just not as soon as you may think. But, the block is gone and I'm free from school for a bit, so expect some to be uploaded. Also thanks to a few name suggestions, I have a good idea of what I want to do. Anyways, hope you have an awesome day! Love ya, guys!
