- Back at Garroth's Recovery Room -
Aphmau: Well, all things considered, we do need more allies to help build our village, but to be on the safe side, I'm gonna need some answers. (She got serious, and I nodded.) Hm.

Aruka: Yeah, alright. (I sat there, resting on my knee.) Ask me whatever you want, though I do have some objections to reveal my identity, everything else is clean. (She nodded, and we got up to leave, but she stopped, when a woman called out to her.)

Aphmau: Kiki...? (She turned around to a red head with green eyes.)

Kiki: Lord Aphmau, I'm gonna throw you a baby shower, even if it's a little late, I promise. (She smiled.)

Aphmau: Aw. Oh, why thank you, Kiki. (We left the house, and she took me to her house for questioning.) Okay, so I can't ask about your name, where you're from, or why you're here. (I nodded.) I'm guessing when you trust us, enough is when we'll know. (I nodded.) Right, then. Let us start. (She began to ask the basics of my reasons of why I hide my identity, first.)

Aruka: Well... (I sighed.) I don't know why... (She jolted, confused.) I guess it's been so long, I've forgotten why I hid it, in the first place. Maybe to run away from the past, and start over..?
(I shook my head.) I-I'm sorry. It's just... I've forgotten all about my past, and all I remember is waking up in the forest and someone finding me. (She tilted her head.) Not you guys, of course, but... a few years back...
(I scoffed.) Anyway, ever since then, I've had this really bad feeling that if I show myself to anyone, something horrible will happen. Like, if I do show my identity, then I get attached to those around me, who I trust....
(I trailed off, and she nodded, so I could go on.) And then..., they get hurt... (I sighed.) I've tried to fight the inevitable, once, but that's exactly what went wrong. My fate was their bad luck, and now, to this day...
(I bit my lip.) The one person, who found me in the darkness and brought me into the light, suffers in immortality when he paid for my punishment.... (Aphmau was so distraught by my sorrow.) Next question....

Aphmau: Oh... um... (She shook her head to get focused.) Well... (She put Levin to sleep, and asked about where I learned to forge such great weapons.) I've just been in awe of them.

Aruka: Heh, that's a good one. (I sighed, stretching.) I learned to make my own weapons when I came across this blacksmith in acquaintance of many different circles. He was a serious man, not one to sugar code, either, which is why I found him perfect to teach me.
(I smiled.) Not that I was persistent, but he was also very talented in his work, so I was desperate to learn from him, if it were ever needed that I had to defend myself. (I rested my hand on my chin, in thought.)
Though, he was teaching me, he had mentioned that I forged many weapons in high-quality, as if I were already a pro blacksmith. So, to think he said that, I guess I was making my own weapons even before I lost my memory. Next question...

Aphmau: Hmm. (She thought.) Let's see... Oh! (She asked me of my assistance and how I could help.) I need to know what things you're good at, and how well you can push yourself to help others.

Aruka: Right. I can fight in hand-to-hand combat and with swords, mostly weaponry combat is preferred, but martial arts is an everyday training exercise. So, I could be a guard or train the little ones, if they want to learn. (I smiled, kindly.)
I can cook, clean, and design new pieces of armor with many durable strong materials. If you need rare remedies, ingredients, and/or worldly possessions, I got you covered, since I was nomadic. I can build strong structures that lasts long and look awesome. (I held out my fingers, counting off the objects.) Be it a house, a barn, and/or a gate, you name it.
(I nodded in satisfaction.) I can farm pretty well, too. It's pretty easy to start a garden, if you have the right necessities. That's mainly how I survived on my own. I'm really connected to nature, too. (I smiled at her, as I twirled my bangs, happily.)
Especially, the animals. I like some more than others, like the canine and feline species. My favorite animal is the arctic fox, because their very graceful and stealthy, like a feline, but have some features of a canine. The animals I don't really like are rats, frogs, and turkeys.
(I looked down.) I've had a few run-ins with wolves, though canines, they're also carnivorous and loyal to their leader. Apparently, I did something to make their leader interested, and ever since, they hunt me down to bring me back to their leader.
(I scoffed.) Yeah, it only happened once, but we never got far enough, when I felt this strange power boil inside me, and as I awoke, the werewolves were unconscious and my bounds were burned, so I fled. But, even now, they still chase me.

Aphmau: What was that whole deal with you being able to smell blood from Garroth, a while ago?

Aruka: Oh. I guess it's the side effects of being around the wilderness for a few years. I could say, it was connected to my past, but I'm not sure.
(I faked a smile, waving it off.) Anyway, my senses are heightened by that or something else.

Aphmau: Hm. Okay. Well, that's all the questions I have, for now. (I nodded, as we stood up.) I'll be downstairs, if you need me. (She walked downstairs, and I searched my bag for a bed.)

Author: Thats it for now, my warriors. I've been working on some new chapters, and I'm hoping I can get them published, soon. I'm sure you'll be surprised. The wait is painful, but stay strong. Bye~! 😆
