Aruka: Now where is a good spot that I won't be spotted...? (I walked to the docks, and looked around.) 'Is there any chance I won't get spotted here?' (I looked up to see Aphmau's house just on that hill.) 'Change of plans; not happening.'
(I went to a different location that Vylad would take often to see the Lord's house, but I took a turn, and saw a small clearing that lead to the ocean.) Perfect. (I set my bags down, getting my honey body wash and vanilla shampoo, and got undressed.) I miss the ocean.
(I went in and dove under, seeing so many beautiful marine creatures.) 'Wow, I've missed all the living creatures of the sea. I use to love going by boat on adventures, especially witnessing the sea life.' (I resurfaced, only to see Gene sitting there smirking at me.)
Gene....! (I narrowed my eyes in suspicion.) What do you want, of all people? (He motioned for me to come over, and I swam over, a bit hesitant. Luckily, my long hair covered my chest, and my long bangs covered my eyes a little.) Why are you here..?
Gene: Can't I check in on my old friend, once in awhile? (I scoffed, and he came in the water, and I panicked.) What's wrong, Aruka?
Aruka: What the hell do you mean, 'what's wrong', IDIOT!?! (I gritted my teeth.) You can't just walk in the ocean fully clothed! You'll get your clothes wet, and it'll take a while to dry them, Gene...! (He chuckled, but I pushed him, and he fell in the water.)
Now, that's funny. (I giggled, and he pulled me under.) Agh! (I squealed going under, as I saw him with a smile on his face.) 'You are such an ass!' (Almost as if he read my mind, he grinned, and I gave him a glare.) 'I swear if you-!' (He pulled me to him, and he kissed me.)
'The sly little bastard!' (We parted and I swam away a little. I was shocked, and pointed to the surface, and he followed me up.)
Gene: You look flustered. (He laughed, but I crossed my arms.) Aw, come on, Aruka. (He smirked.) It was just harmless fun. (I blushed, tense.)
Aruka: HARMLESS!? (I growled.) YOU KISSED ME!! I'm not into that sort of thing right now, Gene! (I looked down at the water around him.) Red...? (I could smell blood, and appeared in front of him.) You're hurt. (He smirked, grabbing my hand.) Gene...
Gene: Relax. I was only kidding. I know you have feelings for someone else. (I rolled my eyes, and took off his jacket and shirt exposing his wounds.) I may have gotten in trouble.
Aruka: Tch! Gene, that's a load of bull! (I touch his chest, feeling scars and cuts along it.) However you got these, I'm gonna need you to lay on your back, and float on the water. (He tilted his head.) You know how, right? (I gave him a 'seriously' look.)
Gene: Its just balance and breathing, right? (I nodded, sighing.) Fine. (He did it, and I concentrated on healing his wounds.) You got stronger.
Aruka: Stop talking, or your wounds won't get fully healed, if I'm distracting. (He scoffed.)
Gene: Hmgh. (I healed him almost completely, but then he went under.)
Aruka: Gene! (I got annoyed, as he resurfaced ten feet away.) I demand you to come back here, you irritating pest! (He smirked, shaking his head no.) Fine then. (I got out the water, and got my vanilla shampoo and honey body wash.) Take your leave, you big baby! (He laughed, and swam to me.) Hm.
Gene: Alright then, I'll take my leave. (He got out and rung out his jacket and his shirt, while slipping it on and his jacket.) Aruka, I'm sorry to say, this may be the last time we meet... (He smirked, but I could hear a tinge of sadness in his voice.) Ever.... again....
(He held a section of strands of my hair, holding up the tips to his lips, as he inhaled my scent.) I'm really gonna miss this... (He closed his eyes, and I trembled, as I heaved a shaky sigh.) I'm gonna miss you..... (He opened his eyes, and a shadow casted over the top half of my face, as tears were running down my face.)
Akahana...... (I looked down, my back faced him, as I clutched my hand to my chest.) Hey, don't shed tears for me.... I'm the bad guy, remember..? (He chuckled, stepping up behind me, and hugged me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder.) Trust me, when I say this....
(I grabbed onto his arm, hopelessly.) It's wasted on someone like me... (I sniffed, trying to hold in my tears and sobs.) You're too pure to waste your efforts, like that... (He tightened his hug, a little.) I can't take back what I've done, and you shouldn't try to defend me for it, or make it seem so easy to forget.
(He scoffed.) But, I'll never let anyone or anything.... change you..... (I melted in his embrace.) Heh. (He slowly trailed his hands to the tips of my hair, stepping back, slowly.) Don't ever change who you are.... (He kissed the tips.) Aruka..... (He slowly released, as they fell limp on back, and he was gone.)
Aruka: No...... (I held myself with one arm, and covered my face with the other, shaking in fear of what he was about to do.) No... He.... (I choked, shedding more tears.) He promised.... not to..... get into any....... trouble. He did it for me.....!
(I broke down in tears and full on sobs, and I was like that for a while. I felt so much pain, rage and sadness, that I soon felt myself slowly forget him. I knew what was happening; he was using his magic and making me forget. He was protecting me from grieving over him, should anything happen, and I gave in. Then, I got washed up with my shampoo and body wash, and rinsed off. I got out, and got dressed, then I headed to Aphmau's house, to sleep it off.)
