- Time skip - Late morning in Phoenix Drop.
Aruka: How do we tell the others in the village? (I was sitting in his lap, leaning my back against his chest, as he gently wrapped his arms around my waist, and I made circling motions on his muscular arms.)
They will definitely react with some major shock, but I think they will be expecting it. (We laughed, and he sat up, causing me to complain, as he got ready to get up.) No~~~...!
Lucias: Come on, my lady. (He stood up, and look at me, who was laying on his side of the bed, whining.) Let's go, or you'll never get around to tell them. (He picked me up, bridal style, and I blushed, looking away as he carried me outside to everyone in the village sitting there in front of us.)
What the-!? (I felt as though eyes were staring at me, and immediately sensed a crowd of people around us.) Aruka, there are a lot of people. (I nodded, and got down from his hold, since this was a good time, if any, I decided to tell them. It was funny how the others were just as I expected them to act. Some shocked, some gleaming from ear to ear about the baby, and some glared at Lucias; that some being males.)
Hehehe. (He held me to him, and he stared at the men with a harsh look.) Mine... (I elbowed him, as the rest of the village was cooing over what we should name the baby, and someone shouted baby shower, then some of them discussed what gifts they should get. Soon, I was carried away from Lucias, by the women of the village to have a girls day, and we all had fun.)
- Time skip - four months after that day.
Aruka: I'm curious as to why Zoey asked me to come by Levin's room, but I guess it has been a bit since I saw him. (I decided to move out of Lord Aphmau's house, and move in to the house Lucias made for us. During the passing days, he made the decision to do a little remodelling to it, since we have a bundle of our own to think about.)
'She must have something big to show us.' (He's been working non-stop, but, today, I forced him to take a break, and eat something. I, on the other hand, have healed from my wounds, and can now see clearly. But, it was the amount of time it took to heal, that worried me; it healed in four months.)
'What could it be, I wonder...' (Zoey said, that I may be blind for awhile, before I heal, since my wounds were no laughing matter. Even now, she says that my sight could be temporary, given the fact that I am not one to easily control my new found powers, just yet.....)
'One thing has been bothering me, about that, though...' (There's also another thing that caught my attention to Zoey; it was her expression when she saw the aura around me, and her tone that gave off a concerned feeling, when she looked at my stomach. This irked me to no end.)
'What could have been so troubling, for her to gain such an expression...?' (I was getting up the stairs, and opened the door to Levin's room.) !! (I saw Lord Aphmau along with Zoey, Donna, and Kiki. One of them said that Levin was going to stand up, and I watched him.)
'Levin, you can do it!' (We all watched in awe, as little Levin stood up for the first time. Aphmau was fondly cooing over how much Levin has grown, and how cute he was, while the others squealed over how adorable he looked with his new ability.)
I'm proud of you, Levin... (I smiled, at the scene before me, then a vision came to me, and I zoned out. In the vision, I saw images of a guy with light sand brown hair and crystal blue eyes. He was vaguely familiar, but I couldn't make it out.)
'Who is this man...?' (There were images of him being a guard; in casual clothes, talking with Aphmau; standing in front of a diamond and gold grave; standing, swords in hand, against Garroth; and him as a dreaded shadow knight.) 'Why is he a shadow knight?'
(This made me angry and slightly confused, as to why my vision is showing me this man... When I woke from the vision, I was on the floor with the girls calling out to me, asking if I was okay, and if I could hear them.) 'Huh?'
(At first, the sound around me was drowned out and fuzzy, then it slowly came back, and they were screaming for me to answer them.) Agh! (I cringed, covering my ears, as they slowly realized I could hear them, and stopped.)
Geez! (I hissed, massaging the back of my ears, and they sighed in relief.) What's with all the screaming, you three? (They looked at me in shock and a bit of annoyance.) What...?
All: ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? (They all yelled in annoyance, and I tilted my head.)
Aphmau: Seriously?! (She scoffed.) One moment, you're fine and smiling; the next, you lose balance and have a dazed look on your face! (I looked at the others, and they nodded.)
Donna: We tried to catch you, when we noticed, but you were going down so fast, and we were only able to catch you by the arms. (She sighed, as they tried calming down.)
Kiki: It was almost like you zoned out for a second, and your legs gave out. (She felt my forehead, and shook her head.) I don't feel a fever, and you show normal vital signs. I just... I don't understand what happened.... (She examined me, closely.) Physically, you're fine. Healthy.
Zoey: And, the baby seems fine, too. (Zoey touched my stomach, and looked at me.) You should be more careful. That power of yours is not something you push aside to deal with, later.
(The others looked at me and Zoey.) You need to control it, sooner more than later.... (I sighed, and the girls helped me up.) What caused you to unknowingly use your powers?
Aruka: I don't know, it just happens... (I scoffed, shifting my bangs.) At random times, I get visions of what seems to be the future. Nothing is confirmed, but I suspect that's what it means. (I shrugged.)
Some visions weren't as big, and were more like flash images, but others were pretty detailed and further into the future. Those were rare, and only happened when a big milestone in Levin's life came around, like the baby shower and today, for example.
(They seemed to be shocked, but were taking it in.) This is the first that it's affected me that much, though. (I put my hand, gently on my stomach.) It affected us, both. (I could feel my baby reacting to it; it was a bond that I felt between us.) They don't understand.... it confuses them, too.... (Was this real..?)
Zoey: Are you saying you can feel what they feel...? (They were curious.) Does that mean, they are developing at a quicker rate...? (I was fascinated by the amusing feeling.) Lady Aruka....
Kiki: Wait.... (She paused.) If her baby continues to increase the developing rate....., then how long til she's due...? (They looked at each other, and I froze.) Just a month or two from now, you might be ready to deliver, Aruka.
(She looked at me.) Its not certain for sure, but if the development continues for the next couple of days, then I want you to come to me and Zoey. (I nodded.) We'll help you go from there. For now, all we have to tell you is try to take it easy and eat well.
All: And, NO HEAVY LIFTING!!! (They scolded me, and I nodded.)
Zoey: Go on, Lord Aphmau. We can take care of Levin here, you go do your job. (Aphmau left.)
Donna: You too, Lady Aruka. You need your rest, after hearing about your baby news. (She squealed, smiling.) AAAH! All this talk about babies makes me want one or twenty! (I coughed.)
Aruka: Good luck, Donna. (I left and went home to the almost finished house, and rested there.)
