Aruka: Uh-huh... (I smiled, and told her about the merchant, who conned Lucias into the deal.) Anyway, that's what happened last night. I know, you might be mad, so I'm gonna go, now.
(I walked off to her house to check on Lucias, and went downstairs to sense him resting on my bed.) Idiot... (I smiled, chuckling.) I screwed up, because of you, and now Aphmau knows. (I sat on the edge of my bed, next to him.)
Of course, Laurence knows, as well, but the village was gonna find out, anyway. Heh heh. (I moved his hair out of his face, and gazed at him.) How peaceful you seem in your sleep, when the world itself keeps turning....
(I giggled, placing my hand on my stomach.) I wonder what this little one will be like in their sleep... (I placed my other hand in his, and held it, gently.) Maybe, like both of us, I guess, duh.
(I giggled, but then I felt him squeeze my hand, and I was shocked.) Wha? Lucias...? (I checked his forehead.) Are you awake? (I whispered, as his temperature was normal.)
Lucias: They would be.... like you..... (He mumbled softly, and I smiled at his cuteness.) Akana....
Aruka: You don't have a fever, though you can never be too sure, ya know. (I took the hand that was, previously on my stomach back, but he grabbed it, pulling me to him.) Lucias...?!
(I fell on top of him, and our lips crashed together, but I didn't pull away. Soon, we ended the kiss, and he smirked at me.) You sneaky little fox! (He turned into a kit'fi, and grinned, twitching his ears, playfully.) Tch!
Lucias: Guilty as charged. (He chuckled, then started coughing.) Hehehe.... you hit me really hard, ya know.... (I jolted, putting my hand to his stomach to heal him.) What's the point of knocking me out, when you end up bragging about it to the Lord, anyway....? (I giggled, as I finished healing him.)
Aruka: I guess you were right, then. I let it slip, when a flirtatious fool tried to court me. (He tensed, but I just laughed.) No need to worry, my dear. I was strictly implying that I had been carrying, and had a fool of my own.
(He chuckled, took notice of my stomach, then softly placed his hand on my stomach.) Hmm? (I looked at his hand, and smiled at his childish expression of curiosity.) I say they'll be more like you with that curiosity, wonder, kindness, loyalty, and all that energy. You're so childish, sometimes, that I forget you can be mischievous and sadistic, too.
Lucias: Again, I'm guilty, for my devilish charms are quite dangerous, my lady. (He smirked, returning his attention to my stomach, and I scoffed.) I say they are like you, because you have courage, strength, compassion, faith, and determination far beyond what others would believe.
Aruka: Heh.... (I blushed, turning away from his gaze.) We're both stubborn as hell, so there's another thing they might inherit. (We laughed, smiling.) Can you sense anything...? You seem calm...
Lucias: If you mean, are we gonna go on adventures, then yes. (I looked at him.) Our baby is going to become a very powerful warrior...! (I immediately hugged him, and he blushed.) Hehehe.
Aruka: Oh, Lucias! That's just wonderful! (I pulled back from the hug, and kissed him.) Mhm.
Lucias: Yeah. Just wait, my dear. (He smiled, sitting up a bit.) In just nine months, and you'll be the proud mother I know you can be... (We spent the rest of the day, talking about the possibilities of whether it was a boy or girl, and what stuff we need for the expected company.)
