Aphmau: I was so worried about you, Aruka! (I nodded.) Where did you go, last night, anyway...? (I jolted, and Lucias grinned, hugging me from behind.) Garroth said, you showed up, telling him about Lucias being the new helping hand around Phoenix Drop, and then you left.
(She scoffed.) But, even after we looked around the village for you, and waited till you came back home, you weren't there.... (I weakly hesitated, to think over my response.) What exactly happened, last night....? (Lucias was just having a field day, getting anxious, trying to keep my pregnancy a secret.)Aruka: Lucias, stay silent. (I gripped his arm, slightly.) Don't say anything, or you'll ruin it!
Lucias: BUT, IT'S SO WONDERFUL! (He beamed, smiling, gleefully.) I MUST LET THE WORLD KNOW! (He was restless, and I took hold of his hand.) I'm a proud fa-! ACK!!! (I punched his gut with full force, and knocked him out, making a *THWACK!* sound.) Aagh.... (Aphmau screeched.)
Aphmau: Lucias!! Oh my Irene! (She looked down at him, panicking.) Are you okay!? (She looked at me, and I scoffed.) Aruka!
Aruka: Don't worry, Lady Aphmau, he's not like normal guys. (I smirked.) He's way stronger, than you would think. (I reassured her, and she got some guy with long hair to take Lucias back to her place.)
'He'll be fine...' (When he returned, he immediately smirked at me.) Huh? (I was curious, as he took my hand and kissed it.) Uhh. Aphmau...? (I narrowed my eyes.)Laurence: By the sound of that angelic voice and the strength you have, you must be Aruka. (I was sensing a salacious feel from him, and growled, yanking my hand away.) Ah. I see you have a feisty temper, as well.
(He chuckled, and I turned to Aphmau.) My love here has told me all about the events that happened here, while she was away, but I had no idea a beautiful young lady was such a help to the village. (Aphmau sighed, shaking her head, disappointed.)Aruka: Aphmau.....! (I hissed, as a warning, mostly to Laurence.)
Aphmau: This casanova here, is Laurence. (He jolted, turning to her.) He's the head guard of a village called Meteli. We met on my search for Levin's mom, and he helped me with a bit of information on how Lords have meetings and stuff like that, despite his habit. (She smiled.)
Aruka: I can very well see that, Aphmau. (I growled.) I may be temporarily blind, but any woman with common sense can tell when a guy is being a total prick. (I crossed my arms.) Hmph.
Laurence: Ha! (He smirked.) You have got to be the second person who's said that to me...
Aphmau: I'm surprised there weren't more.... (She muttered, and he noticed.) Uh! Nothing...!
Aruka: Well, I have to go check on my guy. (I sighed, walking away.) He is a father, after all... (I tried to mumble it, but I guess it didn't work.) 'Man, he was right. I just can't help but brag about it.'
Both: WHAT!?!?! (They were shocked, and I was just as shocked, that I said it myself.) FATHER!?!
Aphmau: ARUKA!! (She twitched, aggravated.) Its bad enough I had to deal with one casanova, but now, your saying THAT casanova has a child!?! (I chuckled at her reaction, as she got up to about my chin, that being her full height.) How can you be so calm!?! (I smiled, holding my stomach.)
Aruka: Because, it's our baby, Aphmau..... (I sincerely smiled at her, as her eyes widen in shock.) I'm pregnant.... (Laurence was so shocked, in the process of replaying what he had just heard, over and over in his head.)
We've discussed it, and he says he'll take full responsibility. (I laughed, rubbing my neck.) He was kinda drunk last night, but you won't like what I'm about to say, so calm down, first. (She breathed in and sighed, ready for my news.)Aphmau: I'm sure, whatever it was that caused him to get drunk has a reasonable explanation..... Go on.
Author: Sorry, guys! Cliff hanger, but I have to. Bye, my warriors~!
