I began doing my class work until the bell rang. The boy next to me still didn't move.

"Miss June can you wake Mr. Kinder up and let him know my class is over?"

"Okay."

I tapped the boy very lightly but he didn't move. He must be a heavy sleeper so I gave him a shove. He almost fell out his chair. I was laughing when he sat up and looked at me. Wow he was fucking sexy. He had bright blue eyes and blonde hair that fell a little over his face.

"I'm sorry the teacher said to wake you. I'm JP."

"I was sleeping. Are you new?"

"Yes, oh shit Sam he was suppose to help me to my next class. Oh well I got to go, time for an endless journey looking."

"Hey wait, JP. Since you was nice enough to wake me ill help you."

"Um, thanks I'm looking for room 367."

"I'm headed that way; I have the class right next to it."

"Okay."

He stood up and grabbed his books. We walked down an empty hall.

"You know you look just like the model Pearly. She models for the surfboards at my work."

"Really, I heard I look like someone, but a model. Nah, I can't be as pretty as her."

Oh god, he knew! Please say you believe me, I really don't want anyone to know.

"You two look a lot alike, but who am I to say, you say you're not her, so you're not."

"I wish, I never saw her or anything but I'm sure she's beautiful."

"Fuck yeah; she's like a fucking goddess."

Aww he thinks I'm a goddess.

"Wow, hey you still never told me your name."

"Romeo."

"Well Romeo, thanks for helping me and all but I better get in there."

"No problem."

I went into my class. The teacher looked at me.

"Can I help you?"

"Um, yeah. I'm JP, the new student."

"What's your real name child?"

"June-Pearl Nichols."

"Well Miss Nichols, you're late."

"I got lost."

"Don't let it happen again. Have a seat next to Sam."

I walked and took the empty seat next to Sam.

"Hey, sorry I couldn't wait up. Mrs. Banks wanted me to leave."

"Its ok, Romeo helped me out."

"Romeo helped you?"

"Yes, why?"

"Wow, nothing. Romeo is like the badass around here. He hates school but the judge told him as punishment he has to finish school."

"What did he do?"

"Stole cars, robbed people, vandalized property; he's done pretty much anything."

"Wow, I didn't know."

"Well he wasn't always like that. He got like that after his little sister was involved in a hit and run."

"How old was she?"

"4, he lost it. He took care of her and all. It was really hard on him."

"How do you know this?"

"I use to be his best friend."

"What happened?"

"He became a delinquent and my parents told me to stay away from him."

"Oh, wow I didn't know that."

"Yea, he must think you're cute or something, otherwise he would have left you to get lost."

"I'm glad he didn't."

We stayed quiet the rest of the class. The rest of the classes went pretty quick and before I knew it, it was lunch. I walked in and saw Sam at a table with his friends, but I wasn't looking for him. I wanted to talk to Romeo. I spotted him in the corner table by himself. He had his head down like always. I walked over and sat across from him.

"Romeo, you alive?"

"Yea, what's up? Why are you over here?"

"I don't know; guess I didn't want to be in the middle of any crowd where people say I'm that model you told me about."

"Yea, well you do look a hell of a lot like her."

"I heard. So Romeo, tell me about you."

"What's there to say?"

"I don't know anything?"

"Nahh, I got a better idea you tell me about you."

"Um, okay. I moved here from Baltimore..."

Oh shit...that can't be him. Why is he here? Fuck he saw me!
