The misshapen creature sat crouched behind a large bin in the abandoned alleyway. Scrunching up his already hideous face the demon caught the odorous stench of rotten food and mold that was thick in the air. This was why he loathed coming here. Humans were awful beings, they stunk, they were timid creatures, and about as inconsistent as the weather.
A low fog had gathered around him clouding his view of the street that set before him. He sensed it a storm was coming, his lips pulled back over in a gruesome smile to revel stained teeth, and rotten breath.
Yes, a storm was coming indeed. The demon thought to himself as he switched his position.
He wished he could get away from this place and return to his home, but he could not he had a job to do. One that was given to him by his superior. He was to retrieve that wretched wench, the one who had somehow gained the attention of the seven sons.
Grumbling under his breath he watched as cars flew past throwing up the rain water that still remained on the roads, watched as couples walked clutching each other as if to never let each other go till death separated them for eternity, watched as humans lived out their mundane lives.
The demon quickly shielded away from the blinding headlights of a car as it pulled into the alleyway. Trying to avoid being sighted he was thankful for once that his ash colored skin blended in perfectly with the night. Hiding behind the bin he watched as a large, bulking man stepped out of the sports car not even bothering to turn off the engine.
White plumes of smoke rose from the exhaust pipe, as this human stumbled around to close the door. His mind and reactions slowed by the alcohol he had consumed moments before.
The man had a towering form and by human terms was quite handsome. His face symmetrical, his eyes a shining blue. He was dressed as if he just left the office and his hair was a shining shade of blonde that hung loosely on his head. Leaning up against his car the man pulled out a cigarette and lit it, quickly bringing it to his thin lips. The small tremors in his hand as he did this did not go unnoticed by the demon.
This man was afraid. Of what the demon did not know, nor did he care. All that mattered was that this man was mentally weak, and with this the demon had found a host. Letting his lithe limbs bring him to his full hight the demon made his way to the unsuspecting man.
Stretching out his spider like fingers the demon swiftly appeared in front of the man. The humans eyes grew three times their size as they took in the monster that stood in front of him. Before the man could release the air that had built up in his lung in a terrified scream the demon already had him in his clutches.
The possession was painful for both demon and human. To each it felt as if their body was being torn in half slowly. Muscles ripped from bone, bone ground against bone. The sound was that out of a horror movie of tearing flesh. The intense pain lasted minutes and when the humans body was adjusted to its new habitant, the demon gladly took over.
Now he could complete his task.

A loud crack of lightning startled Bekah out of her not so restful sleep as it lit up her entire room, flooding the place in a ghostly shade of white. Sweat gathered on her forehead and chest, she felt clammy. She had just been brought out of the most terrifying nightmare she had ever dreamed.
Bringing her knees up, she rested her feverish forehead on them taking deep breaths.
It was just a dream. She kept repeating to herself over and over as her heart race slowed to match the ticking of the grandfather clock that sat to the side of her bed.
Nothing but a vividly gruesome dream.
She had been running, from what she doesn't know, all her mind could recall was the darkness and strangeness that surrounded her. Nothing looked familiar. All she knew was her instincts, and they screamed at her to get away as fast as she could. Right before she woke up, she dared a glance backward and to her horror saw sickly grey colored arms that were outstretched to consume her in their grasps.
Flipping the covers off her body, she slid her bare feet onto the cold wooden floors. It was pitch black outside, except for the occasional flash of lighting. Rain pounded against her window, sounding like little pebbled stones being tossed.
Fumbling around with the door handle, she slowly made her way out of her room to the bathroom. She needed to bathe, she reeked of sweat and fear and felt disgusting. Finding a towel and setting the water to the perfect temperature, she slowly undressed letting the bubbles and water build up in the bath.
She dipped her toe in first testing the water, then content slid the rest of her sore body in the large round porcelain tub.
This is what she needed, to relax, to let all of her thoughts and worries drift away. The sweet sent of cherry blossom filling her nose as she sunk lower into the water.
The sound of an approaching car caught her attention. Her uncle shouldn't be home this early.
Didn't he say he might be gone all night?
Looking at the door she made sure it was locked just incase. Closing her eyes and resting her head on the tub she went back to relaxing. It wasn't any of her concern if her uncle came back early
She heard his loud footsteps echo through the still house, floors creaked as he ascended the steps.
He slowly made his way down the hall till he came to a stop in front of the bathroom door.
What is he doing? Bekah slowly reached for the towel and stood covering herself as much as she could.
The knob jingled, and in an instant the wooden door was yanked from its hinges. Wood splintered, shattered, sending shards flying in every direction.
Letting her instincts take control Rebekah brought her arms up over her head protecting her face from the flying dabrie. A small scream left her lips when she felt a sharp pain as a small wooden stake found its way into her upper thigh.
The sight of the rich red blood seeping down her leg stark against her pale skin sent her stomach reeling. Her vision blurred, and her body swayed till all of the stress and anxiety over the past few days built up to a point of no return.
Letting her mind shut down she collapsed onto the littered floor. The last thing she saw as blackness clouded her vision was a ruggedly handsome stranger kneeling next the her towel covered body.
"Got cha." The cigarette in his mouth twitched, the bright burning embers falling to the ground.

He didn't know if it was a blessing or a curse that the girl passed out at the first sight of him. He had thought he picked an attractive human, but then again it wouldn't be the first time he had been wrong about human taste.
Staring at the thin bag of passed out skin and bones before him he took another draw of the bitter tasting cigarette.
Again, he couldn't understand what the Sons saw in this human. She was ordinary, plain.
Sniffing her, he let out a satisfied sigh.
At least she didn't reek like most of this wretched world.
She smelled sweet and delicious. She smelled pure. A twisting smile found its way to his face as he gathered the tiny girl in his arms.
Thankfully the towel she had wrapped around herself stayed in place, as he hefted her down the steps and out to the sports car he had temporarily 'borrowed' along with the humans body that he was currently trapped in.
"The ride wont be long." He said to the unconscious girl as he buckled her into the passenger seat. "Hopefully."

A/N: I want to apologize for being gone for a few months! School started and it was very stressful. I have also been applying to colleges.
Another apoligy. That possession scene was awful I know. I'm working on it. :( It's harder then you think, well for me it is anyway. And I know it's not the longest, but I just wanted to get it out there.
