After storming out of the Great Hall, the last place Liv wanted to go was the Slytherin common room. So instead she found herself in a dimly lit corner of the library with a spell book that had been tucked away on the bottom shelf. As she flipped through the pages she saw that the book mainly included offensive and defensive spells and charms to be used for dueling. Many of them caught her attention, so she stopped skimming, turned to page one and began soaking up every word.

Theodore was beginning to become desperate as he couldn't find Liv anywhere. He had searched the common room, empty classrooms, the staircases, even the library, but she was nowhere to be found. He almost felt panicky, his heart racing in fear for Liv and the total cardio workout he was getting from running around the castle. He decided to search the library one last time, promising himself to check and double check every nook and cranny.

Liv had completely forgotten the whole fiasco that occurred at dinner as she was having so much fun learning so many different charms. Her favorite so far was the Disillusionment Charm since it felt like someone was cracking an egg over her head. It made her laugh so much that her cheeks hurt and her giggles would've given her location away easily had she used it in a dangerous situation. While the Disillusionment Charm was hilarious, she had found that her strength was in Shield Charms. The first time she had tried to cast it, she hadn't even been sure she had even produced anything; she couldn't see it, nor could she feel it and it left her feeling slightly annoyed. She channeled this annoyance as she made her second attempt and this time she could see the small silver shimmer of a protective barrier appear in front of her. This accomplishment broke her concentration and the shimmer faded away. Now elated at her sudden progress, Liv had continued to practice the charm and with every rep, her shield solidified; so much to the point where it would shatter like a glass window pane once she broke it off.

She was continuing to read through the book when she heard someone enter the library. Panic rose in her chest as her thoughts went immediately to Draco and how he had been so close to her that she could still feel his breath on her skin. Throwing the book into her satchel, she pointed the tip of her wand to the top of her head and whispered the Disillusionment Charm. Once again the sensation of a cold egg cracking over her head covered her entire body (much like when she was in the strange unmoving dimension and she walked through a tree) and when she held her hand in front of her face she could no longer see it. She took her first silent step and headed towards the pattering of footsteps.

The library at night creeped Theodore out because with the candle lit aisles and creaky floorboards it seemed like he was going to run into a troll at any turn. Along with that, he had yet to find Liv; it was as if she had simply disappeared (which with magic wasn't entirely that hard, but still). He rounded the final corner of his intensive search of the seemingly endless rows of books and parchment and surprise! Liv was still nowhere to be found. Theodore felt his entire body deflate with defeat. He turned around, about to head back to the common room, when he ran straight into solid air and fell backwards, pulling it with him. He was just about to start thrashing around when he heard Liv's laugh where the solid air was. He watched in awe as the Disillusionment charm faded, leaving Liv laying there on top of him where he had pulled her down to the ground. She was smiling down at him and laughing at his reaction to running into her while being invisible and Theo couldn't help but laugh with her.

Once the two of them had gotten their laughter under control, they each became aware of the positions they were in and both of their cheeks reddened with embarrassment.

"Um," Liv stuttered slightly as she lifted herself off of Theodore. "I'm so sorry for scaring you like that, I really thought you were Malfoy and just came to bother me some more."

"It's fine," Theo smiled at her embarrassment. "I'm just glad I found you, ive been looking all over the castle for you and now I know why I couldn't find you for all this time. What spell even was that?"

"Oh, that was a Disillusionment Charm." Liv answered with pride in her voice. "I was reading about them in here and I decided to try it out."

"Well, it obviously worked." Theo said shaking his head. "We should probably head back to the dorms now, it is past curfew."

Liv's eyes went wide. "It is? Oh my goodness, we can't get caught!"

She was just about to sprint out of the library when Theodore grabbed her arm.

"Can you cast that Disillusionment charm two more times?"
