Matty's POV- the next day
I've lost all hope, hope of ever finding Naomi. Ever since yesterday's "event", I've been so distracted.
There's just something different about Naomi.
She's like no other girl I've met. I never really believed in love at first sight. But Naomi has surely made me a believer.
That girl is truly one of a kind.
"I have to find her." I thought to myself.
I decided to stop moping around and actually get out of bed. I cleaned my sad self up and put some clothes on. I grabbed my phone and walked out the door.
I got in my car and just sat there for a second.
"How the hell am I actually gonna find Naomi?" I asked myself.
Naomi's POV
I've been laying in bed all day. Just thinking. All I could think about was yesterday. What Matty Healy and I did.
We had sex. And I enjoyed it. Really enjoyed it.
Never in a million years would I have thought that I would have done anything with Matty Healy, but I did.
After George came in and saw us, I was so embarrassed. I ran off as fast as I could and Saige brought me home.
I cried and cried until I couldn't anymore. I don't want them to think of me as some random groupie who got lucky.
I really like Matty. I want him to like me, but, it's not gonna happen. He's a celebrity so he probably has hundreds of other beautiful girls that he likes.
What would he want with little old me?
Nothing about me is special.
I'm just boring Naomi.
After a while, I decide to get out of bed so I could get ready for my job. I work at the local cafe, the Coffee Lounge, as a waitress. It's not the best job but it's pays well.
I brush my teeth and wash my face. I put on my uniform and apron and apply some makeup. I grab my car keys and drive to the cafe.
Matty's POV
I thought of all the places I could find Naomi.
First I went to all the local bars and clubs and asked if they know of a girl with the name of Naomi. Of course they didn't know because all I knew about her was her first name.
Next, I went to all the record stores that were in town and asked if the knew Naomi and gave a description.
Unfortunately they didn't know either.
At this point, I was on the verge of giving up. But I had to stay determined.
I had to find Naomi.
After much thought, I decided to go to some of the local schools and ask. They couldn't disclose that sort of information to me.
Every last inch of hope that I had was destroyed. "I'm never gonna find Naomi" I exclaimed as I started to cry. I was never going to find that girl.
I barely even know the girl but I feel as if I need her. She is the oxygen that I breathe. Without her, I would die.
I got in my car and decided that I needed to go somewhere to calm me down.
I turned the ignition and drove the Coffee Lounge.
Naomi's POV
It was 10 minutes until closing time. Today seemed like it lasted forever.
The only thing on my mind was Matty. I wanted to see him again. I needed to see him again.
I finished stacking all the chairs, so I went on to cleaning the table. I just wanted to go home.
As I was cleaning the tables, someone walked in behind me.
They came closer and asked "Hey, I was wondering if you guys were still open. I just wanted to order something if that's okay."
I froze. "That voice sounds so familiar." I whispered as I slowly turned around.
